Explosionskraftmaschine mit ringförmigem Verbrennungsraum.
Die bisher bekannten Ausführungen von Gasmaschinen mit ringförmigem Verbrennungsraum eignen sich mehr für stehende Maschinen als für liegende, indem nur bei stehender Anordnung Ein-und Auslassventil leicht im Zylinderdeckel angeordnet werden können. Diese bekannte Ausführung ist in Fig. 1 der Zeichnung dargestellt. Kolben a und Zylinderdeckel b bilden zusammen den ringförmigen Verbrennungsraum e. Im Zylinderdeckel sind lotrecht die Ein-und Auslassventile d angeordnet.
Die Erfindung bpgteht nun in einer neuen, eigenartigen Ausführungsform, bei welcher der ringförmige Verbrennungsraum nach der Mantelseite des Zylinders hin offen ist, d. h. bis an den Umfang des Zylinders heranreicht. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, auch bei liegender Anordnung des Zylinders die Ventile d, d lotrecht anzubringen, wie dies Fig. 2 der Zeichnung veranschaulicht.

The previously known designs of gas machines with an annular combustion chamber are more suitable for stationary machines than for horizontal ones, since inlet and outlet valves can easily be arranged in the cylinder cover only when they are arranged upright. This known embodiment is shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing. Piston a and cylinder cover b together form the annular combustion chamber e. The inlet and outlet valves d are arranged vertically in the cylinder cover.
The invention is now in a new, peculiar embodiment, in which the annular combustion chamber is open to the jacket side of the cylinder, i. H. reaches up to the circumference of the cylinder. In this way it is possible to mount the valves d, d vertically even with the cylinder arranged horizontally, as illustrated in FIG. 2 of the drawing.
