Verfahren zur Wiederbrauchbarmachung von vulkanisierten Gummiabfällen.
Das den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildende Verfahren bezweckt, vulkanisierte Gummiabfälle so vorzubehandeln, dass sie neuerdings mit besonderem Vorteile verwendet werden können. Durch diese Vorhehandtung wird nicht eine durchgehende Entschwefelung der vulkanisierten Gummiabfälle beabsichtigt, sondern die Umwandlung der vulkanisierten Gummiabfälle in ein brauchbares Produkt in möglichst kurzer Zeit und auf die möglichst einfachste Weise.
Das Verfahren gemäss vorliegender Ernndung besteht darin, dass die zerkleinerten vulkanisierten Gummiabfälle mit Schwefel aufnehmenden Verbindungen in pulverförmigem, trockenem Zustande vermischt werden, die erhaltene Masse in einem geeigneten Behälter unter einem regulierbaren mechanischen Drucke zu Kuchen gepresst und im gepressten Zustande der Einwirkung einer Temperatur von 2200 C bis 28011 C durch zwei bis drei Stunden, je nach der zu regenerierenden Gummisorte, ausgesetzt wird. Bei Gummisorten mit besonders hohem Gehalt an Füllstoffen hat sich auch ein Zusatz von Harz, wie z. B. Kolophonium, zu der genannten Mischung als das Verfahren begünstigen

Das vorliegende Verfahren unterscheidet sich ausser der Anwendung des regulierbaren mechanischen Druckes und der hohen Temperatur, welchen das gepresste Material unterworfen wird, von den bekannten Verfahren auch noch dadurch, dass der Zusatz der Schwefel aufnehmenden Reagenzien und eventuell des Harzes in vollkommen trockenem Zustande

1. Verfahren zur Wioderbrauchbarmachung von vulkanisierten Gummiabfällen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den zerkleinerten Gummiabfällen die Schwefel aufnehmenden Verbindungen in pulverförmigem. trockenem Zustande inkorporiert worden, worauf die erhaltene Masse zu Kuchen gepresst und in gepresstem Zustande einer Temperatur von 220-2800 (' durch zwei bis drei Stunden je nach der Art des verwendeten Materiales ausgesetzt wird, während die Weiterverarbeitung in bekannter Weise erfolgt.

The object of the process forming the subject of the present invention is to pretreat vulcanized rubber scraps so that they can recently be used with particular advantages. This provision does not aim at a continuous desulfurization of the vulcanized rubber waste, but rather the conversion of the vulcanized rubber waste into a usable product in the shortest possible time and in the simplest possible way.
The method according to the present nomination consists in that the crushed vulcanized rubber waste is mixed with sulfur-absorbing compounds in a powdery, dry state, the resulting mass is pressed into a cake in a suitable container under an adjustable mechanical pressure and in the pressed state under the action of a temperature of 2200 C to 28011 C for two to three hours, depending on the type of rubber to be regenerated.
