Spacer for bundle conductors
As spacers for bundle conductors, rigid frames or scaffolding are generally used, to which the cable clamps for the sub-conductors of the bundle are attached with the interposition of articulated connections. As much as possible on the one hand a flexible connection between spacer and sub-conductors is desired, it has been shown that, on the other hand, a connection of the ropes to the spacer that is free on all sides has unpleasant consequences. In particular, an undesirable inclination of the spacers occurs when differences in the sag of the individual sub-conductors are caused by unequal expansion or incorrect assembly.
According to the invention, these difficulties are countered without impairing the otherwise sought-after advantages of the flexible connection between spacer and sub-conductors in that the mobility of the hinge connection transversely to the line direction is preferably limited by stops arranged on the cable clamps or on extensions of these.
In the drawing, an articulated connection according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in two views. 1 is a partial conductor of the bundle, 2 and 3 are the two jaws of the cable clamp placed on the conductor, which are held together by the screw 4. 5 is a bolt inserted between the clamping jaws and screwed to one jaw 2, which together with part 6 designed as an eye forms the articulated connection between the cable clamp and spacer 7. The joint part 6 is with the spacer 7, for. B. connected by a screw 8.
The mobility of the hinge connection transversely to the line direction is through the stops 9 and 10 on the jaws 2 and. ? limited, as Fig. 1 recognize
EMI1.1
vibrate, excessive and annoying misalignment of the spacer is avoided. On the other hand, the arrangement in the line direction preserves the full mobility of the articulated connection, as is desired in the event of a break in a partial conductor cable.
The fact that the bolt 5 is used for the articulated connection between the extensions of the clamping jaws and these themselves also form the limit stops for the movement of the other joint part 6, a construction that is widely used in its parts and at the same time easy to assemble is obtained.
PATENT CLAIMS: l. Spacer for bundle conductors with articulated connections between spacer frames and partial conductor cable clamps, characterized in that the mobility of the articulated connections transversely to the line direction is limited, preferably by stops arranged on the cable clamps or on extensions of these.
