Self-acting brake
EMI1.1
The cam mechanism existing on the roller arm 3 and the cam piece 8 is expediently designed as shown in such a way that the brake is released in the same way in both the one and the other direction of rotation of the drive motor.
Furthermore, as shown, the arrangement is made so that the cam mechanism together with the rotatable stator of the drive motor after the disappearance or decline of the motor

applied brake is brought back corresponding calm. Instead of a cam gear, a gear or lever gear or the like can also be used.
According to FIG. 2, the cam gear that engages and disengages the brake consists of two bolts 9 and 10 which are diametrically opposite on the rotatable motor stand and which cooperate with a straight rolling path 11 on the actuating arm 3. Here, too, the device is effective for both directions of rotation of the motor, and the restoring of the cam gear and the rotatable motor stand is also brought about directly by the brake spring 6 itself when the torque disappears. In the two exemplary embodiments, the clearance of the brake is limited by a stop 12 that can be expediently adjusted and readjusted.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Self-acting brake, especially for electromotive drives of control or switching devices, which occurs when the drive motor is switched off, characterized in that the brake is released when the motor is started by the rotatable stator of the drive motor under the action of the rotor on the stator applied torque is effected.
