Schuster bekannt, deren aus einer Metallhülse bestehendes Heft mit einer die   Hammerschläge   un- mittelbar aufnehmenden Holzpackung versehen ist. Es ist auch vorgeschlagen worden, Schuhmacher- orte mit einer unter regelbarer Federwirkung stehenden Ahle auszustatten und den abgefederten Teil, auf den die   Hammerschläge   erfolgen, mit einer die Hammerschläge vermittelnden Lederscheibe zu versehen. Während im ersten Falle die unliebsamen Begleiterscheinungen eines metallischen Heftes durch die Holzpackung nicht behoben werden können, ist das an zweiter Stelle erwähnte Handwerk- zeug zu umständlich zusammengesetzt, um befriedigend gehandhabt werden zu können. 



   Die Erfindung beseitigt die gegen derartige bekannte Werkzeuge auftauchenden Bedenken durch   Rückkehr   zum bewährten   Holzheft   und besteht darin, dass das freie Ende des Heftes mit einer Doppel- zwinge versehen ist, die einerseits den Rand des Heftes einfasst und anderseits eine Einlage aus stoss- dämpfendem Material, wie Leder, aufweist. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes teils in Ansicht, teils in axialem Schnitt veranschaulicht.

Schuster is known whose handle, which consists of a metal sleeve, is provided with a wooden pack which directly receives the hammer blows. It has also been proposed to equip shoemaker's sites with an awl which is subject to adjustable spring action and to provide the spring-loaded part on which the hammer blows take place with a leather disc that mediates the hammer blows. While in the first case the unpleasant side effects of a metallic booklet cannot be eliminated by the wooden packing, the hand tool mentioned in the second place is too cumbersome to be able to be handled satisfactorily.



   The invention eliminates the concerns that arise against such known tools by returning to the tried and tested wooden handle and consists in the fact that the free end of the handle is provided with a double clamp which on the one hand surrounds the edge of the handle and on the other hand an insert made of shock-absorbing material, like leather.
