Proktoskop.

Proctoscope.
The previously known proctoscopes with side windows or the short rectoscopes are used in an advantageous manner for viewing the rectal wall and allow injections to be made into the same by means of a syringe.
However, if a clamp is inserted into the rectum in order to grasp a bleeding vessel, a polyp or the like, the proctoscope, due to its closed shape, can no longer be removed without tearing off or injuring the gripped structure .
EMI1.1
can be completely removed after simply loosening them, even if there is already a clamp or the like in the rectum.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal view of the proctoscope assembled for use. Fig. 2 shows the individual parts into which the proctoscope can be dismantled after loosening the screw mentioned.
The tube, which is preferably longitudinally divided according to a meridional section, consists of an upper part 1 and a lower part 2. The collar J located on the latter extends beyond the dividing plane on both sides and therefore also encompasses the upper part and thus prevents the tube from gaping.
The pressure screw 6, which is arranged in the ring-shaped socket 4 of the handle 5, does not act completely in the closing sense when it is actuated. only the handle is fixed in the usual way, but also the union of all parts into a solid whole is effected.
During use, the proctoscope is introduced in the usual way with the help of an obturator.
If a diseased area has been identified, it is grasped with a clamp if necessary. The screw 6 can now be loosened and the handle can first be completely removed, the cutout 7 in the mounting ring 4 allowing the clamp passage. This is followed by the upper part 1 and finally the lower part 2, so that the proctoscope has been completely removed and the diseased area can now be treated without any hindrance.

PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Proctoscope characterized by a tube, preferably divided longitudinally according to a meridional section, the parts of which are held together by the pressure of an organ arranged at the rear end, designed as a separate body and after loosening and removing this pressure organ in the axial direction against each other and then in sequence the rectum can be pulled out if an instrument or the like is already inserted.
