Durch das ganze Afterröhrchen hindurch führt ein Innenkanal c, welcher

dem Mastdarm verhindert. Auf dem Schaft a sitzt ein unbiegsamer Kopf e, während
das Mittelteil des Schaftes a aus einem biegsamen Stück f besteht, das, wie
in der Zeichnung angegeben, aus einer gerollten Feder hergestellt ist. Das Mittelteil
f kann jedoch auch ein Kugelgelenk oder ein biegsamer Schlauch o. dgl. sein, und
es muß neben seiner Biegsamkeit selbstverständlich eine gewisse Knickfestigkeit
haben, damit es beim Umbiegen nicht einknickt. Zweckmäßig wird der Kopf mit dem
Schaft durch den dünnen Überzug i zusammengehalten, welcher vorteilhaft aus .weichem
Gummi oder einem anderen elastischen Stoff besteht und daher gleichzeitig den Darm
vor Druck schützen kann. Der Gummiüberzug i klemmt sich in die Hohlkehle k ein,
so daß er den Kopf mit dem Schaft fest zusammenhält. Das Schaftende b hat einen
aufgeschraubten Deckelf, der bei der Reinigung des Röhrchens abgenommen werden kann
und der den Zweck hat, etwa aus dem Darm ausgetretene feste Stoffe in der im Schaftende
