Fig. 1 zeigt eine praktisch besonders vorteilhafte Gestaltung.

Snow plow.
Snow clearers with horizontal working snow that runs parallel to the front of a vehicle and is adjustable in height are known. For the storage of the working corner, the attachment of the height adjustment device and the local arrangement of the turning points for the purpose of upward and downward movement of the worm worm system, a number of construction elements and special devices are provided, which in interaction result in a more or less confusing and above all complicated overall structure. Quite apart from the costly nature of such snow clearers, they are completely unsuitable for connection to any vehicle that is ready to drive.
The inventive design of the snow plow, which consists in forming a casing partially enclosing the working snow by means of stiffening organs as a rigid system, ensures that the mounting of the working worm, the means of attack of a height adjustment device, the articulated connection required for this between the working tendon system and the Vehicle and possibly also the support surfaces for the relief springs can be attached directly to the formwork body.
The simple construction and the associated limited space requirement of the snow plow according to the invention

the driver's cab 20 and a locking device for the handwheel are advantageous. The relatively large dead weight of the worm worm 1 and its auxiliary equipment places a high tensile stress on the threaded spindle. M and a high thread flank pressure between the spindle thread and the nut thread of the handwheel 21 result. A significant torque would therefore also have to be overcome when the handwheel 21 is actuated.

arranged so that their support surfaces are formed directly or indirectly on the one hand by the casing 4 and on the other hand by the front wall of the vehicle. The shape of the conical springs known per se appears to be particularly suitable. The support surfaces on the cylindrical casing 4 are formed, for example, by angle pieces 23 which are rigidly connected to the casing 4 by riveting or the like.
The working worm 1 can be driven in a wide variety of ways. A particularly useful example is shown in FIG. At one end of the shaft 2, advantageously between the bearing 3 and the outlet of the profile of the working worm 1, a worm wheel 24 is keyed, which is in engagement with a worm 26 fixed on a shaft 25. The shaft 25, which is interrupted by an articulated coupling, for example a universal joint 27, is held by bearings 28. On the end of the shaft 25 facing away from the working worm 1, there is a counter worm gear 29 which cooperates with a counter worm 30. The maximum permissible speed of the working screw 1 depends on the snow depth and the nature of the snow. In order to regulate this speed, a known change gear 31 is provided.
This can advantageously be arranged below the driver's cab 20 so that the change gear can be actuated directly by the vehicle driver. The change in the direction of rotation of the working worm 1, which is frequently required in practice, is achieved by turning wheels. 32 reached, which are driven by the motor shaft 33. The entire drive device can be covered by a protective box.
When clearing wet snow, it can happen that the snow accumulates between the profiles of the working worm 1 and sticks to the profile flanks. In order to avoid the resulting reduction in the snow delivery rate, the hot exhaust gases from the engine are used, as is known, to warm the worm gear. In practice, this can be done, for example, by interposing the hollow shaft 2 in the exhaust line, the heat also being transmitted to the profiles of the working snow 1.
The drive vehicle itself can have a wide variety of forms. Fig. 1 shows a practically particularly advantageous design. The engine 34 with the radiator 35 is arranged behind the driver's cab 20. Crawler drives 36 are used for locomotion. The roof of the driver's cab 20 is expediently equipped with one or more lighting fixtures 37, which enable the control of the snow clearance of the worm conveyor 1 during night work. For the sake of completeness, the arrangement of windshield wipers, fog and deck fittings, etc., should also be mentioned here.
The worm worm 1 and its auxiliary devices can be attached to any motor vehicle or the like without difficulty. The snow plow according to the invention can also be used advantageously for clearing track systems. In this case, only the drive means for the worm, which have to adapt to the respective operating conditions, change.
