Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Cantilevered, bulletproof and gas-tight roof cladding, especially for hangars.
To cover military buildings, especially aircraft hangars, bulletproof and gas-tight room closures are necessary, which are also able to repel incendiary bombs and which have an inconspicuous appearance in the terrain.
The present invention for this purpose consists in that correspondingly thick sheets a are shaped after a horizontal C, as shown in the drawing in various configurations with one or more folded lower flange b and with a completely flat surface or lateral beads c. The sheets formed in this way form cantilevered cells, which are laid with the opening facing downwards on binders according to FIG. 1 or on purlins according to FIG. 2, so that insulating plates d can be placed on the flanges b, creating a heat-retaining air space e. The cells are welded to one another at the outer edges c, cemented or covered with roofing material.
The outer skin should be able to withstand infantry shells and lighter incendiary bombs. Any material that melts through fire bombs should be able to be stopped by the insulating plates d.
