Bei den bekannten Hobeln mit auswechselbarer Sohle ist letztere mit dem Hobelkörper entweder durch einen Bajonettverschluss verbunden, wobei die Berührungsflächen zwischen Sohle und Hobelkörper vollkommen glatt, also nicht weiter aneinander geführt sind. Bei diesen Hobeln tritt leicht ein Schlottern der Sohle ein. Oder die Sohle ist mit dem Hobelkörper durch eine sehwalben- schwanzartige Führung verbunden. Um diese Mängel zu vermeiden, ist gemäss der Erfindung die Sohle mit dem Hobelkörper durch einen Hakenverschluss (Bajonettverschluss) verbunden und ausserdem sind die Ansatzfläehen der Sohle und des Hobels, je nach der Breite des Hobels, mit einer oder mehreren, dicht ineinander passenden, nicht unterschnittenen Nuten und Federn versehen, so dass durch einfaches Anstecken eine schotterfreie sichere Verbindung zwischen Hobelkörper und abnehmbarer Sohle erreicht wird und der Hobel leicht in einen Schiff-, Falz-, Rundstab-, Hohlkehl-, Profilhobel u. dgl. verwandelt werden kann.
Die Zeichnung zeigt mehrere Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes, u. zw. Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht der auswechselbaren Hobelsohle mit einer Nute, Fig. 2 mit zwei Nuten, Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt durch einen Hobel mit auswechselbarer Sohle, Fig. 4 den Querschnitt durch einen einfachen, Fig. 5 durch einen zweifachen Profilhobel, Fig. 6-8 Querschnitte durch auswechselbare Hobelsohlen verschiedener Profile und im Vergleich zum Hobelkörper verschiedener Breiten.
Der Hobelkörper ist mit über seine Unterfläche vorragenden Haken a versehen, die durch Sehraubenspindeln b an ihm befestigt sind. Die Sohlenfläche weist Vertiefungen c und eingesetzte, mit Schlitzen versehene Platten d auf, in welche die Haken eingreifen. Ausserdem sind die Berührungs- flächen der Sohle und des Hobelkörpers mit nicht untersehnittenen Nuten e und Federn/ausgestattet.
