Kupplung zur Verbindung von zwei Holzleisten, insbesondere Fensterrahmen
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kupplung für Doppelfenster, Fenster mit doppelter Verglasung u. dgl. Der- artige Kupplungen sind bereits in den verschiedensten Ausführungen bekannt, unter anderem auch solche mit einem an einer Leiste drehbar gelagerten flachen Kupplungshebel, der an einem Ende hakenförmig ausgebildet und am andern Ende mit einer senkrecht z'ir Drehebene stehenden Handhabe versehen ist. Die erfindungsgemässe Kupplung besitzt nun ebenfalls einen flachen in der ganzen Länge auf seiner Unterlage aufliegenden Kupplungshebel, welcher an einem Ende hakenförmig ausgebildet und mittels einer Schraube an einer Leiste drehbar zu befestigen ist, wobei er am andern Ende für die Erfassung einen Griff besitzt.
In einer an der zweiten Leiste senkrecht zur Drehebene angebrachten Schraube hakt der Kupplungshebel ein und wird durcn den Schraubenkopf gehalten. Wird der Kupplungshebel in seiner Stärke versenkt, können beide Leisten ohne Abstand gekuppelt werden. Ist ein Abstand der einen Leiste von der andern erwünscht, kann in der einzuhakenden Schraube eine Nut angebracht werden, in welche der Haken eingreift : diese Nut aber wird überflüssig, wenn der Schraubenkopf genau in seiner Grösse der Tiefe nach versenkt wird und an Stelle der Nutschraube kann die normale Schraube treten, gleichgültig ob Rund- oder Flachkopf. Der Abstand beider Leisten kann durch die Länge der Schraube bestimmt werden.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeichnung veranschaulicht. So zeigt Fig. 1 den Kupplungshebel a und die Schraube b, mittels welcher derselbe drehbar befestigt ist sowie die Schraube c, in welche die hakenförmige Ausbildung des Hebels einhakt ; diese Schraube c ist an der zweiten gegenüberliegenden Leiste d (in Fig. 2) befestigt ; a'zeigt in strichpunktierter Linie den ausgeschwenkten Hebel, die Ausnehmung d an des Leiste zur Erfassung des andern Endes des Hebels für die Drehung bzw. Schwenkung des Kupplungsvorganges.
Fig. 2 zeigt beide gekuppelte Leisten ohne Abstand verbunden, a den Hebel, b die Schraube, mittels welcher der Hebel an einer der beiden Leisten drehbar befestigt ist, c die Schraube an der gegenüberliegenden Leiste, in welche der Haken des Hebels für den Halt eingreift ; d Leiste, d'Aus- nehmung auf beiden Leisten zum Erfassen des Hebels. Fig. 3 zeigt die Kupplung auseinanderliegender Leisten (also mit Abstand) wozu die Schraube c'mit einer Nut versehen ist, die aber überflüssig wird, wenn der Schraubenkopf in seiner Grösse der Tiefe nach genau versenkt wird ; a Kupplungshebel, b Schraube für den drehbaren Halt des Hebels, d Leiste, d'Ausnehmung für die Ergreifung des Hebels.
Hiedurch ist gezeigt, dass für diese Kupplung nur ein hakenförmig ausgebildeter Kupplungshebel mit zwei handelsüblichen Schrauben notwendig ist und trotz dieser Einfachheit eine universelle Verwendungsmöglichkeit gegeben ist. Durch das Aufliegen des ganzen Kupplungshebels auf seiner Unterlage, gibt es auch kein Lockerwerden (Ausleiern) dieser Kupplung.

Coupling for connecting two wooden strips, especially window frames
The invention relates to a coupling for double windows, windows with double glazing and. Such couplings are already known in a wide variety of designs, including those with a flat coupling lever rotatably mounted on a bar, which is hook-shaped at one end and is provided with a handle perpendicular to the plane of rotation at the other end. The coupling according to the invention now also has a flat coupling lever resting on its base over its entire length, which is hook-shaped at one end and can be rotatably fastened to a bar by means of a screw, with a handle at the other end for detection.
The clutch lever hooks into a screw attached to the second bar perpendicular to the plane of rotation and is held by the screw head. If the strength of the coupling lever is lowered, the two bars can be coupled without a gap. If a distance between one bar and the other is desired, a groove can be made in the screw to be hooked into which the hook engages: this groove, however, becomes superfluous if the screw head is countersunk to its exact size and instead of the groove screw can kick the normal screw, regardless of whether it is round or flat head. The distance between the two bars can be determined by the length of the screw.
The subject of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. 1 shows the clutch lever a and the screw b, by means of which it is rotatably attached, and the screw c, into which the hook-shaped design of the lever hooks; this screw c is attached to the second opposite bar d (in Fig. 2); a 'shows the lever pivoted out in a dash-dotted line, the recess d on the bar for detecting the other end of the lever for the rotation or pivoting of the coupling process.
Fig. 2 shows both coupled bars connected without a gap, a the lever, b the screw by means of which the lever is rotatably attached to one of the two bars, c the screw on the opposite bar, in which the hook of the lever engages for the hold ; d Bar, D recess on both bars for engaging the lever. 3 shows the coupling of strips lying apart (that is, at a distance), for which purpose the screw c 'is provided with a groove which, however, becomes superfluous if the size of the screw head is precisely countersunk in depth; a clutch lever, b screw for the rotatable hold of the lever, d bar, d recess for gripping the lever.
This shows that only one hook-shaped coupling lever with two commercially available screws is necessary for this coupling and, despite this simplicity, it can be used universally. As the entire clutch lever rests on its base, there is no loosening (wearing out) of this clutch.
