In the case of a tube with side gussets (FIG. 15), the bottom is formed in the same way as described above. The front of the hose is folded over, so that side tabs 7 b and 8 b are created, the end tabs 10 a being folded inward. The points 6c are folded outwards so that triangular pieces projecting over the side folds 4 (t are formed, while the edges of the side flaps 7b and 8b are glued together. The complete conclusion

Pocket 6d shown.
In order to form a filling valve in the gusseted sack, the tube is slit a short length in the longitudinal direction, as has been described above in connection with FIG. 11, whereupon the procedure is continued in the same way.
In another embodiment according to the invention, in which the closure is effected by interposing the layers instead of projecting edge strips, the sheets are provided with rectangular cutouts 14 (with the point at 6e) on the longitudinal fold lines of the sack to be formed. If the sheets are cut from a paper web, small squares will be punched out of the web when the cuts are made across the web. These sheets are folded together so that the cutouts coincide with one another, with the side edges of the sheets being offset from one another. The side edges of the sheets are then folded inward to form a tube as shown in FIG.
Instead of providing the leaves with cutouts, the tubes can also be formed first and then the corners thereof can be cut off at an angle of 450, as is indicated at 14 in FIG. Then the front of the tube is folded over to form the side tabs 7e and 8c, while the end tabs 10b are folded inward. The cut-out parts 14 or the points 6e are led outwards, so that triangular pockets 6t are created which coincide with the corners of the bottom of the sack. The side flaps (the edges of which have previously been provided with glue) are then folded together; u. between z.
B. an edge or a marginal strip of the innermost tube first folded down and then the corresponding opposite strip folded over it, whereupon the edges of the other tubes are placed on top of each other and connected to each other so that all edges come to lie between each other and a bottom according to Fig. 2 is formed. In this sack, a filling valve for filling the filling material can be formed in the manner described above by slitting a corner in the longitudinal direction of the sack.
In the case of a single-layer sack, the triangular bag (FIG. 10) can be folded over and attached to the floor by means of adhesive, so that a rectangular floor is formed and the corner closure of the same is reinforced.
