   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schalldämpfer für Brennkraftmaschinen, bei dem die Auspuffgase einen in Richtung der Gasströmung sich erweiternden, durch gleichachsig angeordneten Kegelmäntel   gebildeten Ringraum durchströmen   und durch Röhrchen austreten, die in der Abschlusswand des Ringraumes konzentrisch zu dessen Achse angeordnet sind. 



   Auf der Zeichnung   ist ein derartiger Schalldämpfer dargestellt,   u. zw. in Fig. 1 in Ansicht und in Fig. 2 in Seitenansicht ; Fig. 3 zeigt den   Schalldämpfer   in Längsschnitt. 



   An das Auspuffrohr schliesst ein kegelig sich erweiterndes Gehäuse a an ; gleichachsig zu diesem ist der Kegel b angeordnet. so dass ein kegeliger, in   Richtung   der Auspuffgase sich erweiternder Ringraum c gebildet wird. Die Auspuffgase treten nach   Durchströmung   dieses Ringraumes durch in der Abschlusswand desselben konzentrisch zu seiner Achse angeordnete Röhrchen   d aus. Die Aussenwandung   verläuft in eine Spitze e aus. 



   Der Vorteil des erfindungsgemässen   Schalldämpfers   liegt darin, dass er bei guter   Schalldämpfung   den Auspuffgasen einen ungehinderten Austritt gestattet.
