Mustard protection fabric made of two layers of fabric.
The invention relates to a mustard protective material consisting of two layers of fabric and essentially consists in producing the inner layer of the protective material, i.e. the layer resting on the body, from a liquid-impermeable material and the outer layer from a liquid-absorbent material that is moistened before use.
A thin rubber material can be used as the inner layer, which is covered with a layer of velvet or terry cloth, which is soaked in water or a weakly alkaline aqueous solution before use. As an outer layer you can also use one made of paper or cardboard.
As a water-impermeable layer it is advantageous to use an oil substance or a layer that is coated with dissolving agents, e.g. B. with soaps bivalent and trivalent metals with fatty or resin acids, is treated.
The liquid-absorbing outer layer can also be soaked with organic solvents for mustard instead of water.
In this way, a protective material is obtained that is cheap to produce and whose outer moist layer is easy to detoxify. It can also be lifted off the impermeable inner layer and destroyed, especially if it is made of cheap paper or the like. As a result, the expensive impermeable base is retained and can be covered with a new outer absorbent layer. In general, it is sufficient to moisten the outer layer with water, as this is a good releasing agent. But it may be necessary under certain circumstances. To add substances such as alkali or the like to the water, which make the mustard easier to hydrolyze, or to replace the water at all with organic solvents for mustard.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Lost protection material consisting of two fabric layers, characterized in that the inner layer consists of a liquid-impermeable and the outer layer consists of a liquid-absorbent material that is moistened before use.
