EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The subject of the invention is a vibrating device with continuous intrinsic force feed for surfaces such as those used, for example, in the construction of concrete roads. Concrete ceilings, floors, etc. Like. Is used.
With the larger circumferential surface strikers customary up to now, in which either a plate (rail, U-iron or the like) is knocked or this plate itself is given a shaking movement in some way, the feed is from the vibrated to the not yet vibrated Area like that. that the vibration is interrupted and the lifted device is moved forward to the not yet vibrated surface, where the vibration begins again after it has been put on again.
In the z. B. in concrete road construction usual devices, which mostly consist of flat iron or U-iron, the length of which covers half the street width, causes this lifting, apart from the undesired periodic work interruptions and the irregularities of the vibration caused by them, also the need to handle and move forward to entrust at least two workers with the device.
The device according to the invention consists of the mass J. eccentrically rotatably mounted in the two bearing points collar C of the common support body D, which in turn is rigidly connected to the vibrating rail F (also U-iron or plate or the like). The drive with a correspondingly high selected speed takes place via the stub axle G and clutch H by the motor 1.
The weight of the mass A, the speed and the eccentricity are selected in such a way that the resulting centrifugal force slightly exceeds the weight of the entire device, so that when the centrifugal force is directed upwards in the high position of the mass A, the rail F lifts off the ground is guaranteed.
EMI1.2
Semicircle of their rotation moved in the direction of the desired working feed rate.
It is clear that a noteworthy horizontal movement under the influence of the horizontal components of the centrifugal force which are periodically equal in both directions can only occur in the floating
EMI1.3
lying device are negligibly small.
The delay caused by the inertia of the device, both when lifting and when lowering, causes the state of suspension to occur just before the highest position of the eccentric mass A is reached and to persist during the greater part of the subsequent quarter-circle track.
The sum of the effective horizontal forces falling in the direction of the desired advance will therefore significantly exceed the sum of the opposing effective horizontal forces.
The sums of the individual movements that take place under the influence of the effective horizontal forces will therefore result in a practically continuous movement of the device in the direction of the desired advance.
The handle L firmly connected to the device enables this movement to be regulated and steered.
