or pipes and is located in that two clamp halves on the side walls behind the screw passage hole have curved walls on which the two parts roll on each other when opening and closing, and that between these walls one or more recesses and as many segment-like projections are arranged are. which interlock like fingers when assembling the clamp halves.
The drawing illustrates the inventive new embodiment of the clamp in an exemplary embodiment, u. between FIG. 1 in elevation and in FIG. 2 in side elevation seen from behind. while FIG. 3 shows a section along A-B of FIG.
The two clamp halves a have rounded walls on their side walls behind the screw through hole b and between these walls each have one (or more) recesses d and just as many segment-like projections e. In the assembled state of the clamp, the projections e grip like fingers into the recesses cl.
When the clamp is screwed on and off, its two halves a rotate on the rounded portions c arranged on both sides, while the projections e move freely in the recesses d during rotation due to the segment-like rounded shape. The projections e are completely relieved of pressure in this way, so that the risk of breakage is eliminated without additional expenditure of material.
In addition, the two halves of the clamp always remain evenly engaged when the clamp is opened differently, so that there is no visual cranial position.
