   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Verhinderung des Überkochens von Milch od. dgl. Sie besteht insbesondere darin, dass in dem das Kochgefäss abschliessenden Deckel eine zentrale   Durchbrechung   vorgesehen ist, in die ein oben erweiterter und unten in das   Koehgefäss   hineinragender verengter, beiderseits offener Einsatz eingesetzt ist, der mit seiner abgesetzten Fläche am Deckel aufruht. 



   In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand im Längsschnitt dargestellt. 



   Der das Überkochen der Milch od. dgl. zu verhütende Einsatz a ist beiderseits oben und unten offen. Dabei ist er oben erweitert und unten verengt. Ein mit einer zentralen Durchbrechung d versehener Deckel c wird auf den oberen Rand des Kochgefässe e aufgesetzt. In diese Durchbrechung wird nun der unten stutzenartige, verengte Teil des Einsatzes   a,   eingeführt, wobei der abgesetzte Teil b des Einsatzes auf den Deckel e zu liegen kommt.
