Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rundstrickmaschine zur Herstellung von Sehlauchgarnen und von Hüllen für strangförmige Körper, also von engen Schläuchen. Gemäss der Erfindung liegen die Nadelkopfebenen nicht, wie bei solchen Maschinen bisher üblich, in Radialebenen des Nadelzylinders, sondern bilden Tangentialebenen zu einer Zylinderfläche, deren Achse die Nadelzylinderaehse ist. Durch die Erfindung wird erreicht, dass der in die Nadeln einzulegende Faden einen grossen Winkel mit den Nadeln bildet. Hiedurch ergibt sich, dass der Faden von den Nadeln sicher erfasst wird, so dass das Ausfallen von Maschen vermieden ist.
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung sind in den Fig. 4 bis 8 der Zeichnung dargestellt. Sie zeigen schematisch den Nadelzylinder in der Draufsicht bzw. Stricknadeln in Ansicht und Draufsicht. Die Fig. 1 bis 3 veranschaulichen einen Nadelzylinder und eine Nadel der bisher verwendeten Art.
In der Fig. 1 ist ein Nadelzylinder der bisher üblichen Art schematisch in Ansicht von oben gezeigt.
Er hat eine Bohrung 1 und vier Schlitze 2 bis 5, dE'ren Mittelebenen durch die Achse des Zylinders gehen.
Bei den zugehörigen Stricknadeln (Fig. 2 und 3) liegen der Nadelkopf 6, der Nadelschaft 7 und der Nadelfuss 8 in derselben Ebene. Bei in den Nadelzylinder eingesetzter Stricknadel verläuft deren Mittelebene 10 durch die Achse des Nadelzviinders, bildet also mit der Richtung des Fadens 11 einen kleinen spitzen Winkel. M.

The invention relates to a circular knitting machine for producing tubular yarns and casings for rope-like bodies, that is to say narrow tubes. According to the invention, the needle head planes do not lie in radial planes of the needle cylinder, as has been customary in such machines up to now, but form tangential planes to a cylinder surface, the axis of which is the needle cylinder axis. The invention ensures that the thread to be inserted into the needles forms a large angle with the needles. This means that the thread is securely gripped by the needles so that loops are prevented from falling out.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in FIGS. 4 to 8 of the drawing. They show schematically the needle cylinder in plan view and knitting needles in view and plan view. Figures 1 to 3 illustrate a needle cylinder and needle of the type previously used.
In Fig. 1, a needle cylinder of the type conventional hitherto is shown schematically in a view from above.
