Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The creation of a glaring mirror image in the field of vision of the observer can also be avoided, however, by moving the band-shaped filament 2 around the perpendicular to the optical
EMI2.1
the long axis of the ribbon-shaped filament is to be understood as the connecting line of the intersection of the diagonals, which are drawn in the narrow rectangles lying at both ends of the ribbon-shaped filament.
The invention is not limited to pyrometers with a ribbon-shaped filament and a filament widened in the form of a flat area at the intersection, but it can also be used analogously in pyrometers with differently designed filaments, for example with a completely wire-shaped filament and a wholly or only ribbon-shaped filament at the intersection, albeit in the latter. If the above-mentioned light effect is usually less noticeable.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Pyrometer according to Patent No. 132916, characterized in that a bright mirror image of the front filament is prevented from becoming visible on the filament behind it by covering the mirror image by widening the front filament itself or by tilting the filament in such a way that no image can arise in the field of vision.
