bestehen bleibt. The invention relates to protective goggles for preventing the dazzling of the
Eyes through the rays of the sun, through the headlights of oncoming vehicles
or the like. So far, you have to protect yourself against bright light by using dark glasses
tried, which however have the disadvantage that they darken the whole field of view strongly,
so that less bright objects can no longer be perceived. There are also goggles in particular against
Glare from the headlights of oncoming vehicles became known,

are provided, through which the eye should be shaded against bright rays of light.
However, these glasses are very impractical, on the one hand because through the shadow wall that

remains.
Furthermore, glasses to protect the eyes against damage are already through

Exposed glasses are replaced by perforated metal disks, the holes
either in small numbers on part of the disc or in large numbers over the whole
Disc are arranged distributed. In the former case, these glasses also grant one
some protection against glare, as only a small amount due to the small number of holes
Part of the light rays striking the pane can get into the eye, but this is also the field of view
unbearably cramped and the driving safety of the driver is greatly impaired, · in the latter
In this case, this disadvantage is avoided, but Her has no anti-glare effect at all
present, because every light beam impinging on the pane
can enter the eye through a large number of holes at the same time.
also a number as close together as possible, over the entire field of vision
distributed, but tube-like light passages, their common axis intersection
is close to the center of rotation of the eyes, so that regardless of the respective position
of the eyes only a part of each light beam emanating from any point in the field of vision
can enter the eye through part of the pupil opening. Here
the entire field of view can therefore be completely surveyed simply by moving the eyes
nevertheless, the eye is from being glared by from any direction

The intensity of the light spreading behind the pupil and striking the retina is correspondingly lower than when the entire pupil is illuminated and, accordingly, there is no diaphragm effect.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of protective glasses according to the invention is shown, in which the glasses lenses are made of opaque material and the light passages are formed by openings provided in the lens. In the drawing, the eyes with a labeled, before the eyes of a per se known eyeglass frame is mounted b, which is expediently provided with side-mounted ao fixed or flexible screens ^ to keep to laterally incident light rays from the eye. The approximately hemispherical lenses c , made of opaque material, are inserted into the glasses frame, with a number of light passages distributed as close as possible to one another in the form of holes if, whose common axis intersection is close to the center of the eye. The diameter of the bores is smaller than the pupil diameter and otherwise depends on the thickness of the disks c; the thicker the disks, the larger the diameter of the holes can be. As a result of the tubular design of the light passages and their arrangement in such a way that their common axis intersection is close to the center of rotation of the eye, it is achieved that of the light rays from each light source located at any point in the field of view / always only a part g through a
