Verfahren zur Aufnahme und Wiedergabe von Tönen.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Aufnahme und Wiedergabe von Tönen, bei welchem in einem bandförmigen Schallinienträger unmittelbar durch den Schreibstift der Aufnahmedose die Tonrillen erzeugt werden und von diesen Rillen unmittelbar durch die Nadel der Wiedergabedose der Ton abgenommen wird, und die Erfindung ist darin gelegen, dass ein nur aus Gelatine bestehendes Tonband benutzt wird.
Bandförmige Schallinienträger für die Aufnahme und Wiedergabe von Tönen sind bekannt. Man hat auch für solche Sehallinienträger bereits Gelatine verwendet. Jedoch wurde die Gelatine bei den bereits bekannten Tonbändern nur als Aufnahmeschicht auf ein besonderes Tragband aufgebracht, welches zur Aufnahme der Zugspannungen dient. Das erfindungsgemässe Band besteht jedoch nur aus Gelatine. Die praktische Erfahrung hat gelehrt, dass die Zugfestigkeit des Gelatinebandes auch bei geringen Bandstärken ausreichend ist. Ein solches reines Gelatineband ist bequemer und billiger herzustellen als ein Band, bei welchem die Gelatine erst auf ein besonderes Tragband aufgebracht werden muss.
Das erfindungsgemässe Tonband ist vorzugsweise für die Verwendung als Sprechband in Diktaphonen bestimmt. Die Handhabung eines solchen Diktaphons ist äusserst einfach. Die Sprechrillen werden durch den Schreibstift der Aufnahmedose auf dem Band aufgezeichnet. Von diesen Rillen kann durch die Nadel der Wiedergabedose das aufgenommene Gespräch jederzeit abgenommen werden, ohne dass ein chemischer Härtungsprozess vorgenommen werden müsste. Das erfindungsgemässe Band stellt somit ein ideales Aufnahmematerial für Diktaphone dar, da sein Preis gering und zwischen Aufnahme und Wiedergabe keine Zwischenbehandlung nötig ist.

Band-shaped sound line carriers for recording and reproducing sounds are known. Gelatine has also already been used for such visual line supports. However, in the case of the already known audio tapes, the gelatine was only applied as a recording layer on a special carrier tape, which serves to absorb the tensile stresses. However, the tape according to the invention consists only of gelatin. Practical experience has shown that the tensile strength of the gelatin tape is sufficient even with thin tape. Such a pure gelatin tape is more convenient and cheaper to manufacture than a tape in which the gelatin first has to be applied to a special carrier tape.
The tape according to the invention is preferably intended for use as a speaking tape in dictaphones. Using such a dictaphone is extremely easy. The speaking grooves are recorded on the tape with the pen on the receptacle. The recorded conversation can be picked up from these grooves at any time through the needle of the playback box, without having to undertake a chemical hardening process. The tape according to the invention thus represents an ideal recording material for dictaphones, since its price is low and no intermediate treatment is necessary between recording and playback.
