Waveguide with a profile wire layer.
It has been proposed to manufacture a waveguide from two layers of profiled wires. such that the inner layer is made up of wires of two different cross-sections. u. between double-T-shaped profile wires and flat wires. The flat wires reach deep into the through the flanges and the
Web formed cavity of the double-T-shaped wires, u. zw. so that the flat wires in radial
Direction play. The outer layer is necessary so that the inner layer is held together.
There are also already known single-layer hollow ropes which consist of lead wires interlocking with tongue and groove, of which the grooved lead wires have a rivet-shaped profile and the other lead wires have a rectangular or trapezoidal profile. Both ladder groups must be firmly clamped together to prevent the rope from collapsing. There are also known single-layer hollow ropes in which the individual wires in the rope cross-section form tangential butt joints, the extension of which tangentially touch a circle lying at the center of the hollow rope and resting on the inside of the shaped wires. The wires can preferably intermesh with teeth.
It has also been proposed to strand wires with a club-shaped tongue and groove in such a way that each wire has a tongue on one side and a groove on the other side. The tongue and groove lay firmly against each other. All these hollow ropes have in common that a displacement of neighboring wires and thus a radial flexibility of the rope is not possible. without causing the rope to be destroyed.
The invention relates to an improved waveguide with a protuberance wire layer, in which an intermediate wire is inserted in a known manner between two double-T-shaped wires in such a way that the wires are radially movable relative to one another. According to the invention, the cross section of the intermediate wires is narrowed in the middle and the club-shaped widened cross-sectional parts of the connecting wires are encompassed by the flanges of the double-T-shaped wires such that between the narrowed part of the intermediate wire and the flanges of the double-T-shaped wires a small margin is provided.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, u. between shows:
1 shows the cross section of the new waveguide, FIG. 2 shows the connection of a connecting wire with the double-T-shaped profile wires adjoining on both sides, on an enlarged scale.
The intermediate wire b has a narrowing in the middle. The outer, club-shaped widened parts are surrounded by the flanges of the double-T-shaped wires a like claws. A clearance c is provided between the narrowed central part of the intermediate wire b and the flanges of the double-T-shaped wires a.
In Fig. 2, the setting of adjacent wires with mutual displacement is shown with dashed lines. It can be seen from this that the design according to the invention of the intermediate and double-T-shaped wires ensures a considerable radial displacement possibility.
The wires a and b of the waveguide can be made of the same or different material, e.g. B. made of aluminum or steel.
