  Dorn für rechts und links verwendbare   Scharnierbänder.   



   Rechts und links verwendbare Scharnierbänder mit in dem Band lose steckendem, in der Mitte mit einem Bund versehenem Dorn sind bekannt. Bei diesen erfolgt die Umstellung von rechts auf links oder umgekehrt dadurch, dass die Bandteile vom Dorn abgezogen gegenseitig vertauscht und auf die Dornenden wieder aufgesteckt werden. 



   Der lose Dorn hat aber den Nachteil, dass er leicht aus dem Band herausfällt. 



   Nach der Erfindung wird dies dadurch vermieden, dass der Umfang des einen Dorn-   ieiles   geriffelt und in das zugehörige Band leicht einzuschlagen ist, so dass der Dorn im Bandteile mit genügender Reibung haftet, um nicht herausfallen zu können. 



   Auf der Zeichnung ist das Scharnierband in Fig. 1 als linkes in Fig. 2 als rechtes Scharnierband dargestellt. 



   Der Dorn ist durch den mittleren Bund 2 in zwei Teile   1   und 3 geteilt, wovon der untere Teil 3 mit einer durch ein Rändrierwerkzeug hervorgerufenen Riffelung versehen ist, während der obere Dornteil1, wie bisher, glatt bleibt. 



   Da alle Scharnierteile einzeln lose geliefert werden, muss beim Gebrauch des Bandes als rechtes oder linkes jeweils der Dorn mit seiner Riffelung in den zugehörigen Bandteil leicht eingeschlagen werden, wodurch auf einfachste Weise ein Halten des Domes im Bande erzielt wird.

   Hinge straps that can be used on the right and left with a mandrel loosely stuck in the strap and provided with a collar in the middle are known. In these, the changeover from right to left or vice versa takes place in that the strip parts are removed from the mandrel and interchanged and re-attached to the mandrel ends.



   The disadvantage of the loose mandrel is that it easily falls out of the belt.



   According to the invention, this is avoided in that the circumference of one mandrel is corrugated and is easy to knock into the associated band, so that the mandrel adheres to the band part with sufficient friction to prevent it from falling out.



   In the drawing, the hinge is shown in Fig. 1 as the left in Fig. 2 as the right hinge.



   The mandrel is divided into two parts 1 and 3 by the middle collar 2, of which the lower part 3 is provided with a corrugation produced by a framing tool, while the upper mandrel part 1 remains smooth as before.



   Since all hinge parts are supplied individually loose, when using the band as a right or left hand, the corrugation of the mandrel must be easily knocked into the associated band part, which makes it very easy to keep the dome in the band.
