   Es sind Ketten bekannt geworden, deren jedes Glied aus zwei   parallelliegenden   Ringaugen und einem gemeinsamen Verbindungsbügel besteht. Der Zweck dieser Ausbildung ist, eine Kette durch Einschieben jedes Gliedes in das vorangehende zu bilden. 



   Bei diesen Gliedern muss zwischen den parallelen Ringaugen ein entsprechender Zwischenraum vorgesehen sein, um das Ineinanderschieben der Glieder zu ermöglichen. Dadurch wird aber bei Belastung der Kette der Bügel des einen Gliedes die Ringaugen des vorangehenden gegeneinanderdrücken und so dessen Bügel ungünstig beanspruchen. 



   Das gemäss der Erfindung ausgebildete Kettenglied vermeidet diesen Nachteil dadurch, dass seine Ringaugen vollständig aneinanderliegen, wobei aber dennoch die Möglichkeit erhalten bleibt, die Kettenglieder zwecks Bildung der Kette   illeinsuderzustecken.
