  Verfahren zur Herstellung von hohlen Metallstange wie   Hohlbohrstählen   u. dgl. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von hohlen Metallstange, wie Hohlbohrstählen, Stehbolzen für Dampfkessel u. dgl., aus hohlen Knüppeln oder Ingots, bei welchem der Raum zwischen der   Lochwandung   der Stange und dem in sie eingesetzten Metallkern von geringerem Durchmesser als jener des Stangenloches vor dem Strecken der Stange mit   niehtmetallischem   Füllmaterial ausgefüllt wird. Das Ausziehen des Kernes stiess nämlich wegen der sehr grossen Reibung auf Schwierigkeiten. Es ist daher schon vorgeschlagen worden, einen Metallkern von geringerem Durchmesser als jener des Hohlraumes im Werkstück zu verwenden und den so erhaltenen Zwischenraum mit Sand, Graphit oder einem andern nichtmetallischen Füllmaterial auszufüllen.

   Das Ausfüllen des Zwischenraumes zwischen Kern und Werkstück mit dem pulverigen Material ist aber umständlich und zeitraubend. 



   Die Erfindung vermeidet diesen Nachteil dadurch, dass auf den Metallkern, der in bekannter Weise von Anfang an einen geringeren Durchmesser aufweist als der Lochdurchmesser, das nichtmetallische, die Reibung verringernde   Füllmaterial inForm von Platten   bzw. in Sehnurform aufgebracht, d. h. um den Kern hüllenartig angeordnet bzw. auf denselben aufgewickelt wird. Als Füllmaterial können   z.   B. Asbestplatten   oder-schnüre   verwendet werden.
