Selector for self-connection telephony systems.
The invention relates to a selector for self-connecting telephone systems, which is characterized in that a single contact arm by three different dialing movements lying in a single plane, namely a long-term rotary movement, e.g. B. for hundreds, a short-step rotary movement, z. B. for decimal, and a subsequent radial movement, z. B. for single choice, the choice and the connection causes.
The drawing illustrates the invention, u. Zw. Fig. 1 is a plan view, Fig. 2 is a side view of part of a z. B. for 10,000 connections specific voter.
On the semi-cylindrical frame a (Fig. 1), the telephone connections are distributed al.
Within this frame there is a shaft b concentrically to it, which carries the selector arm c in a radially displaceable manner. The selector arm c is connected to a toothed rack d, which has a slot guide e encompassing the shaft b at the rear. The selector arm c can be moved radially with these parts on or on a disc, u. betw. with the help of an engaging in its rack d, of the disk

sits on the shaft b and is connected to a smaller gear wheel i rotatable on the same axis on the shaft b. The disk I can be detached from the gear wheel h in that it is axially displaced on the shaft b so that its pin P protrudes from the gear wheel h.
This is done by exciting the magnets k, which at the same time also hold the disk I after being released from the gear wheel h. The pawl m moved by the electromagnet I acts on the gear wheel h and the same pawl o moved by the electromagnet n acts on the gear wheel i. At p a spring is indicated which is tensioned when the disk / is moved and the parts in their initial position returns when the electromagnet q triggers a locking device r of any type influenced by it. The device works in the following way:
By turning the disk I by means of the pawl o and the gear i, the disk f is longitudinally ridden with the contact arm c, e.g.
B. set to the desired group of hundred. The pawl m with the gear wheel h sets the contact arm by further turning the disk I to the desired group of ten within the selected group of hundred. In this position, the disk I is now released from the gear wheel h by exciting the magnets k and held in place. At the same time, the wheel s comes into engagement with the gear wheel g.
The gear h is now further rotated by further pulsating excitation of the electromagnet l and now rotates the small gear s, which is connected to the gear g so that it is set in rotation and the contact arm c by means of its rack d radially via the connections of the selected group of ten to select the ones.
The suspension of the receiver can then be used to excite the electromagnet q so that the locking device r is released and the parts are returned under the influence of the spring p previously tensioned during the rotation of the disc t. A helical spring t arranged on the shaft b presses the disk I with its pin 11 back into the gear wheel h. The radial displacement of the contact arm can also take place in other ways.
