Chiller for refrigerators.
The invention relates to a refrigeration machine for refrigerators and aims to make the two groups of the main components of such a refrigeration machine movable relative to one another for the purpose of testing etc. without loosening the refrigerant lines. The essence of the invention is that a flexible refrigerant line is provided between the two groups of the main components of the refrigeration machine. With a suitable length and flexibility, this enables one of the

or the like to jerk close together.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 is a vertical section through a refrigerator with an inserted refrigerating machine equipped according to the invention; FIG. 2 shows the refrigerating machine lifted out of the cabinet and assembled ready for dispatch in a side view, FIG. 3 shows a side view of a modified embodiment of the refrigerating machine inserted in the cabinet, FIG. 4 the same machine removed from the cabinet.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the evaporator 21 is arranged in the upper part and the condenser 22 is arranged in the lower part of the refrigerator 20. The two are connected by the flexible refrigerant line 24 and the electrical line 25 which runs alongside it and is held together by clamps 51. The evaporator 21 together with all associated parts is fastened to the underside of a plate 41 which, with the inspection cover 70 removed, can be placed from above on support strips 71 in the cabinet and locked in any way. The capacitor 22 is arranged in the lower part of the cabinet and rests together with the motor, pump and the other associated parts, which do not form the subject of the invention, on a lockable plate 55 guided in the cabinet.
The two groups 21 and 22 of the components of the refrigeration machine can be displaced relative to one another by virtue of the flexibility of the refrigerant and electrical lines 24, 25 without these lines and their connections to the two groups being disturbed. So you can remove each of the two groups from the cabinet for the purpose of testing, readjustment or the like, while the other group remains in the cabinet, as indicated in Fig. 1 in dotted lines for the capacitor.
But you can also set up both groups for shipping od. Like. Independent of the cabinet close to each other on a plate 39 (Fig. 2) and fasten in any way. This makes it possible to manufacture the refrigeration machine filled with the refrigerant ready for operation in the factory, to ship it and to use it in a refrigerator in a simple manner that does not require any special skill or care. The refrigerant and electrical lines 24, 25 only need to be of sufficient length and flexibility.
In the device according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the evaporator 220 and the condenser 212 with the other parts of the machine are on horizontal plates 241 'or. 240 ′ of a stand 260 and connected to one another by flexible pressure medium lines 221, 222. They can thus be pushed into the cabinet through closable openings in the front wall of the cabinet 210 together with the rigid, U-shaped frame 260, 240 ', 241', with the evaporator 220 in the upper and the condenser 212 in the lower two compartments of the cupboard directly above one another and separated from one another by a horizontal partition 231 ′ enter (FIG. 3). The through the vaporizer

unilaterally loaded upper.
Plate 241 'is supported against intermediate wall 231' by means of a foot 263.
The U-shaped frame, together with the two groups of the main components of the refrigeration machine, can be taken out of the cabinet as a whole (FIG. 4), with struts 261 hinged to the stand 260 being moved under lateral pegs 264 of the upper plate 241 'of the frame around the latter to support. This arrangement makes it possible, while maintaining the mutual mobility of the two groups of the components of the refrigeration machine, due to the flexibility of the pipe connections between these groups, to insert and remove the whole machine at once in a cabinet.
