   Das Stammpatent betrifft einen Kommutator für elektrische Maschinen mit achsial verlaufenden Verbindungsfahnen zwischen den Lamellen und den   Wieklungsanschlüssen.   Gemäss der Erfindung des Stammpatentes ist zwecks besserer Abfuhr der am Kommutator erzeugten Wärme einerseits die für den   Stromübergang benutzbare Kommutatoroberfläche   so klein, dass sich pro 1   em2   dieser   Fläche   mindestens 2 Watt Bürstenverluste ergeben, anderseits sind die Verbindungsfahnen   zwecks Erhöhung   der Wärmeabfuhr, insbesondere durch Verlängerung in achsialer Richtung, zusätzlich vergrössert. 



   Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung einer solchen Anordnung bei Doppelkommutatormaschinen, die insbesondere für hohe Stromstärken gebaut sind. Erfindungsgemäss ist an beide Stirnseiten der Kommutatorwieklung über die gemäss dem Stammpatent ausgebildeten Verbindungsfahnen je ein Kommutator angeschlossen. Eine derartige Anordnung hat gegenüber einer solchen, bei der die beiden Kommutatorhälften entweder zu einem Kommutator vereinigt sind oder einen Doppelkommutator mit unmittelbar nebeneinanderliegenden Hälften bilden, wesentliche Vorteile. Die zusätzlich vergrösserten Verbindungsfahnen saugen nunmehr die Wärme nicht nur von dem zugeordneten Kommutator ab, sondern auch aus der   Kommutatorwicklung,   u. zw. auf beiden Seiten der letzteren.

   Die Kommutator-   wieklung   kann also erheblich höher mit Strom belastet werden, ohne dass sich eine unzulässige   Erwärmung   einstellt. 



   Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht die Anordnung nach der Erfindung. 1 ist der Ständer einer Gleichoder Weehselstromkommutatormaschine, 2 sind die beiden Kommutatorhälften, die über die Verbindungsfahnen 3 je an eine Stirnseite der   Kommutatorwicklung angeschlossen   sind. Die beiden Kommutatoren und die Verbindungsfahnen sind gemäss den eingangs geschilderten Bedingungen des   Stall1mpatentes   ausgebildet.

   The parent patent relates to a commutator for electrical machines with axially extending connecting lugs between the lamellas and the weighing connections.    The present invention relates to the use of such an arrangement in double commutator machines which are particularly built for high currents. According to the invention, a commutator is connected to each of the two end faces of the commutator via the connecting lugs designed in accordance with the parent patent. Such an arrangement has significant advantages over one in which the two commutator halves are either combined to form a commutator or form a double commutator with halves lying directly next to one another. The additionally enlarged connection lugs now suck the heat not only from the associated commutator, but also from the commutator winding, and the like. between on both sides of the latter.

   The commutator movement can therefore be subjected to a significantly higher current load without inadmissible heating occurring.
