Packung.

Pack.
The subject of the invention is a pack which seals the contents of the pack completely tight, but which should be as cheap and easy to open as possible. In particular, the pack is what is known as a slicing pack. What is strange and new is that the pack can be closed again well with its own lid after it has been cut open, which now serves as a slip-on lid.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal center section of the tightly sealed pack, FIG. 2 shows in the same representation how the pack can be opened by a knife cut or the like, FIG. igt in the same manner of representation as the loose cover obtained by cutting can be used in another position as a clip-on cover.
EMI1.1
with an equally erect edge d and a jacket e made of paper that is tightly wrapped and glued onto the edges of the base and lid in two or more layers.
This jacket e, where it does not rest on the edge of the base and lid, has a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the lid, namely an outer diameter that is approximately, equal to, or slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the initially outwardly directed lid edge d.
If the lid b is now separated by a cut s-s (FIG. 2) for the purpose of opening the pack, it is available as an openable lid and only needs to be turned into the position according to FIG. 3 for this purpose.
The constriction of the package jacket can best be achieved by glueing the entire extent of the paper forming the jacket on both sides before it is wound onto the base and cover. When it dries, it contracts in the desired way and at the same time forms a particularly tight seal on the base and lid. The pack is either filled before the lid b is applied, or a filling opening is left in the lid, which at the end is closed for itself, for example by means of a sheet of paper to be glued on.
For the sake of simplicity, a cylindrical pack with a cylindrical lid is shown and described. However, it would also be possible for the pack and the lid to be prismatic.
