Armature winding powered by induction.

The ohmic and inductive resistance of these stator windings are set to such a mutual relationship that the machine itself is excited and can deliver low-frequency current. The machine is particularly suitable as a commutator rear machine which is switched into the secondary circuit of asynchronous machines and acts on their phase compensation.
It is known in this multi-phase commutator machine to mount an excitation winding connected in series with the armature winding in the stator.
The invention relates to an improvement in such a commutator rear machine. which, on the one hand, have a favorable effect on the commutation of the rear machine. on the other hand, the initiation of self-excitation is also facilitated when the asynchronous front machine is less loaded. It is again in the stand of the rear machine except for that through In. A winding connected in series with the armature winding is also arranged.
According to the invention, the magnetic axis of this series-connected winding is rectified with the armature winding, so that it supports the magnetization of the machine by the armature ampere windings. Compared to the known arrangement described above, there is the difference that the magnetic axis of the known excitation winding connected in series forms an angle of 900 with the magnetic axis of the armature winding, while this angle is 0 in the arrangement according to the invention.
An improvement in the commutation is achieved by the arrangement according to the invention. that for the generation of the same magnetic flux now lower armature amperes
