Device for measuring certain amounts of liquid.
The invention relates to a device for measuring certain amounts of liquid with a closed container and a displaceable tube guided airtight in its ceiling for filling in the liquid and for limiting the amount filled in depending on the position of the tube. It is already a liquid measuring vessel with a pivotable one arranged outside the measuring vessel
Known pipe for regulating the liquid level. In the known design, the pipe also forms the overflow for the liquid that continues to flow in after the measuring vessel has been filled. In order to prevent the overflow, you have to do it now. in which the measuring vessel is full, the liquid supply is switched off.
In contrast to this, the subject matter of the invention has the advantage that the inflow is automatically shut off when the desired amount is filled into the vessel, in that the air can no longer escape when the water level in the vessel reaches the lower end of the pipe.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in vertical section on the drawing in FIGS. 1-3.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the measuring device has a closed container 1, in the ceiling of which a displaceable tube 2 is guided in an airtight manner and serves to divert the air from the container. The lower end of the tube determines the liquid level and thus the amount of liquid in the container.
The tube 2 is provided with a graduation 3, on which the amount of liquid can be read off directly. The liquid is fed to the closed container 1 without excessive pressure, so that the air in the container is not compressed. FIGS. 1 and 2 show two different settings of the tube 2.
According to Fig. 3, an open container 4 is provided above the closed container 1 as a liquid storage container. In the filing line; from the container 4 to the bottom of the container 1, a three-way tap 6 is installed, which optionally allows filling of the container 1 or emptying after the pipe 7.
Measuring devices with an open and a closed container and a filling line are known. However, these have a pivotable overflow pipe which, in the measuring device according to the invention, is advantageously replaced by the pipe 2 which can be displaced airtightly in the ceiling of the closed container. The upper end of the tube 2 protrudes above the liquid level of the open container 4, to which the liquid is fed through a line not shown.
