   Die Deckel von Speisekochkesseln, welche durch Fallschranben oder ähnliche Verschlüsse an dem   Kochgefässe   befestigt werden, müssen am Rand durch einen   Verstärkungsring versteift   werden, welcher meist aus Eisen angefertigt wird. Es ist daher notwendig, diesen   Verstärkungsring   mit dem edleren   Metall zu überkleiden.   Dies wird in verschiedener Weise bewirkt, gewöhnlich in der Art, dass am Kessel eine Zarge befestigt wird, welche auf den Eisenring aufgelötet wird. Durch   das Auflöten   der Zarge entstehen jedoch unvermeidliche Undichtheiten. 



   Die vorliegende Erfindung lässt   diese Ubelstände   vermeiden, indem ohne jede Lötung der Eisenring sicher umfasst und vollständig mit dem edleren Metall des Kessels umkleidet wird. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass in dem Deckel ein Innendeckel angeordnet wird, so dass der   Eisenring   zwischen den Randteilen beider Deckel eingeschlossen wird. 



   In der Zeichnung zeigt A den Aussendeckel, B den Innendeckel und C den Verstärkungsring, D die   Nutauskleidung.   Nach dem Zusammensetzen der beiden Deckel und des Versteifungsringes wird der die Nut bildende Randteil an den E und F verschweisst. Der fertige Deckel besteht daher äusser-   lich   nur aus dem eigentlichen edlen Kesselmaterial, für welches vorwiegend Nickel oder rostfreier Stahl in Betracht kommt und hat keinerlei Spannungen, welche Undichtheiten zur Folge haben könnten.

   The lids of cooking kettles, which are attached to the cooking vessels by drop bolts or similar closures, must be stiffened at the edge by a reinforcing ring, which is usually made of iron. It is therefore necessary to cover this reinforcement ring with the nobler metal. This is done in different ways, usually by attaching a frame to the boiler, which is soldered onto the iron ring. Soldering the frame, however, creates inevitable leaks.



   The present invention allows these inconveniences to be avoided by securely encompassing the iron ring without any soldering and completely covering it with the more noble metal of the boiler. This is achieved in that an inner cover is arranged in the cover so that the iron ring is enclosed between the edge parts of both covers.



   In the drawing, A shows the outer cover, B the inner cover and C the reinforcement ring, D the groove lining. After the two covers and the stiffening ring have been assembled, the edge part forming the groove is welded to the E and F. The finished lid therefore consists on the outside only of the actual noble boiler material, for which nickel or stainless steel is predominantly used, and has no tensions whatsoever which could result in leaks.
