Fig. 1 zeigt den Keilriemen in Seitenansicht. Fig. 2 zeigt die Riemenverbindung durch zweckmässige Verschraubungen.

EMI1.1
Both V-belts are known that have a metal insert in the upper part to accommodate the
Have train, as well as those that are provided on their lower side with recesses to the
Run over pulleys to make the belt more snugly.
The invention described below is a V-belt with recesses which are arranged on the upper side, while the steel band insert is embedded on the underside of the belt. The
The main purpose of this arrangement is that the V-belt for drive pulleys with low
Diameter can be used because the belt is able to fit closely to the respective circumference of the pulley, since the open teeth mean that the belt can largely be bent when running over the pulley without being crushed.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the V-belt in side view. The steel belt a leads through the base of the V-belt, while trapezoidal, upwardly open toothings b were produced through recesses on the top. Fig. 2 shows the belt connection by appropriate screw connections. The screw f holds with the widened head edge the plate d, which corresponds to an identical plate on the top of the belt, where the
Thread of the screw carries a nut c which holds the top plate in place. The screw (is surrounded by a sleeve e. In Fig. 2, the steel band a and the upper toothing of the V-belt b can be seen again.
This type of connection does not hinder the bending of the connection point when running over the pulley due to the free mobility of the teeth b against one another.
The steel belt at the bottom probably results in a minor reduction in adhesive strength compared to the V-belt with the steel insert at the top and lower teeth, but this is of no consequence, since the lower arrangement of the steel belt gives you a free hand in the development of the belt's height.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Rubber toothed V-belt with a steel band or metal insert embedded in the lower part, characterized in that the belt is equipped with teeth that are open at the top, whereby a greater flexibility of the V-belt is achieved.
