Durch das Ansetzen von Staub und Flugfasern am Lagerhals von Ringspindeln unterhalb des wirtes entsteht schon nach wenigen Tagen ein Faserbelag, der die sich drehenden Teile abbremst. Dies hat zur Folge, dass das Garn weniger Drehungen bekommt und daher an Festigkeit einbüsst. Es sind schon verschiedene Konstruktionen vorgeschlagen worden, die bezwecken, durch besondere Formgebung des Wirtels und des Lagerhalses oder Einbau besonderer Teile dem Ansetzen von Staub vorzubeugen. Zweck der Erfindung ist. ein einfacheres und billigeres Mittel zu beschaffen. das denselben Zweck erfüllt wie die bekannten Konstruktionen.
In der Zeichnung stellt Fig. 1 eine Ringspindel mit im Schnitt gezeichneter Staubchutz- vorrichtung dar, Fig. 2 zeigt die Ringspindel mit der Staubschutzvorrichtung in Ansieht. Der Staubschutz D ist ein aus Messingblech gestanzter und gepresster Ring, der auf den Ringspindellagerhals C aufgeschoben wird und dessen aufgebogene Rand den unteren Rand des Spindelwirtels E lose umfasst. Die Ringspindel A kann nach Aufsetzen des Ringes D durch die Öffnung des Lagerhalses C in das Spindellager B eingesetzt werden. Bei Verwendung dieses Staubschutzes können die Flugfasern und der Staub nicht an den Lagerhals C herankommen.

As a result, the yarn gets fewer twists and therefore loses strength. Various constructions have already been proposed which aim to prevent the build-up of dust by specially shaping the whorl and the bearing neck or by installing special parts. The purpose of the invention is. to obtain a simpler and cheaper means. that serves the same purpose as the known constructions.

The dust cover D is a ring stamped and pressed from sheet brass, which is pushed onto the ring spindle bearing neck C and whose bent-up edge loosely encompasses the lower edge of the spindle whorl E. The ring spindle A can be inserted into the spindle bearing B through the opening in the bearing neck C after the ring D has been fitted. When using this dust protection, the flying fibers and the dust cannot get to the bearing neck C.
