Ablaufverschluss für Waschbecken, Badewannen u. dgl.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ablaufverschluss für Waschbecken, Badewannen u. dgl., bei dem das Bodenventil durch eine Kette od. dgl. mit einem Gegengewicht auf der Beckenrückseite verbunden ist. Er unterscheidet sich von bekannten derartigen Verschlüssen dadurch, dass die Kette od. dgl. in einem Rohr geführt ist, welches mit einem Ende auf dem oberen Beckenrande aufsitzt, sich im Bogen bis über die Innenkante des Beckenrandes wölbt und dort oberhalb des höchsten Wasserspiegels im Becken frei mündet. Ausserdem ist die Kette od. dgl. an ihrem auf der Beckenrückseite befindlichen Ende mit einem Tropfenfang versehen. Der neue Ablaufverschluss wird in weiterem Masse den Anforderungen von Reinlichkeit und Hygiene gerecht als die bekannten Ablaufverschlüsse.
Das Bodenventil wird beim Verlassen des Wassers frei emporgezogen, und da der Fuhrungsrohrbogen oberhalb des höchsten Wasserspiegels im Becken frei munde, läuft der überwiegende Teil des dem Bodenventil und seiner Kette od. dgl. anhaftenden Wassers und mit diesem Seifenschaum, Schmutz u. dgl. auf dem Wege vom Wasserspiegel bis zur Rohrmündung an demselben ab und in das Becken zurück. Dem auf der Beckenrückseite herunterhängenden Teil der Kette od. dgl. etwa noch anhaftende geringfügige Wasserteilchen werden durch den dort an ihr vorgesehenen Tropfenfang aufgefangen und zum Verdunsten gebracht, so dass sie nicht auf den Boden abtropfen können.
Alle Teile sind jederzeit frei zugänglich, der Verschmutzung durch das überlaufende und ablaufende Wasser entzogen, leicht zu überwachen und in Ordnung zu halten.
Die Zeichnung. veranschaulicht eine beispielsweise Ausführung der Erfindung. Fig. l zeigt den Ablaufverschluss geöffnet, im Längsschnitt und Fig. 2 den Grundriss dazu in Ansicht.
Das Bodenventil a ist am einen Ende und das Gegengewicht c mit der Tropfenfangschale t am anderen Ende, iner Kette b befestigt. Diese Kette b ist in einem Rohr d geführt, welches mit einem Ende auf dem oberen Beckenrande befestigt ist, sich im Bogen bis über die Innenkante des Beckenrandes wölbt und dort oberhalb des höchsten Wasserspiegels im Becken frei mündet. Beim Öffnen des Bodenventils wird die Kette auf die Beckenrückseite geführt, und etwa an ihr noch haftende Wasserteilchen verdunsten am Tropfenfang.
PATENT-ANSPRUCHE :
1. Ablaufverschluss für Waschbecken, Badewannen u. dgl., bei dem das Bodenventil durch eine Kette od. dgl. mit einem Gegengewicht auf der Beckenrückseite verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kette (b) od. dgl. in einem Rohr (d) geführt ist, das mit einem Ende auf dem oberen Beckenrande aufsitzt, sich im Bogen bis über die Innenkante des Beckenrandes wölbt und dort oberhalb des höchsten Wasserspiegels im Becken frei mündet.

When the bottom valve is opened, the chain is led to the back of the pool, and any water particles still adhering to it evaporate from the drip catcher.
