temperature is able to evaporate a rapidly increasing amount of water. The higher the temperature of the exiting saturated air, the smaller the volume of air to be sucked in in order to dissipate a given amount of heat.
Since air that is too warm and too humid is not readily permissible for the greenhouse for obvious reasons, it is further proposed according to the invention that this air be mixed with other air of suitable temperature and suitable moisture content before it enters the greenhouse. This additional air can be taken from the open air or heated by any available waste heat source and added to the warm, humid air coming from the condenser without adding moisture. This makes it possible to regulate both the temperature and the moisture content of the air fed into the greenhouse as required.
It will be necessary to subdivide the main air stream for the various greenhouse departments several times in order to regulate the temperature and moisture content of the individual branch streams according to the requirements of the cultures in the individual departments.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. A turbo generator 2 for generating electricity is set up in the machine house 1. The exhaust steam flows from the turbine 3 through the pipe 4 into the surface condenser 6. The fan 6 sucks the air through the condenser 6 and presses it through the line 7 into the greenhouses 8. Immediately upon entry of the air into the condenser are spray nozzles 9 arranged, which add the required water in a finely atomized state to the air. Through the line 10, dry air is mixed with the main air flow in the line 7, which air is preheated in the air heater 12 by the exhaust gases from the steam boiler 11 and set in motion by the fan 13.
Both preheated air and, through the connector 14, normal atmospheric air at outside temperature can be fed to the fan in order to add dry air of a suitable mixed temperature to the main air flow.
In some cases it may be useful to split the surface capacitor into two parts, which are applied separately, u. between one with dry air and the other with a mixture of air and water. In this way, two separate streams of dry and moist warm air are obtained. Since the moisture requirements of different cultures are different, this fact can be taken into account in a simple manner that one of the two air currents. mixed with each other to the appropriate extent, i.e. adding a more or less large amount of dry air to the moist air flow.
