   Wird zwecks Herbeiführung einer Notbremsung der Handgriff G heruntergezogen (Fig. 2), so verbindet der Notbremshahn H den   Druckluftbehälter   D mit den Bremszylindern B, nachdem er die
Verbindung der letzteren mit dem Führerventil F unterbrochen hat. Dadurch wird verhütet, dass die Druckluft bzw. ein Teil derselben durch das in der Lösestellung befindliche Führerventil ins Freie abfliesst und unter Herabminderung der Bremswirkung verloren geht. 



   Um ein möglichst rasches Anhalten des Fahrzeuges im Falle der Notbremsung zu veranlassen, muss auch der Antriebsmotor gleichzeitig mit der Bedienung des Notbremshebels stillgesetzt werden. 



   Zu diesem Zweck liegt ein Kontakt   J   der Kurzschlussleitung L derart im Bewegungsbereich des Handgriffes G bzw. des Drehhebels für diesen, dass beim Niederziehen des Handgriffes ein Kurzschliessen des Stromes noch im Anker des Generators selbst erfolgt, so dass die Zündung in den Zylindern der Brennstoffkraftmaschinen ausgeschaltet wird.
