Manually steerable, two-wheeled motor mower.
The present invention relates to a manually steerable, two-wheeled motor mower, in which the machine frame carrying the laterally projecting cutter bar is supported outside the running wheel axis by a guide roller. their position to the direction of travel
According to the invention, the machine is such that, when mowing, by virtue of a guiding effect exerted by it, it absorbs the counter-pressure that is created on the cutter bar and tends towards the pivoting of the machine.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention: FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of the machine in plan view; FIGS. 2 and 3 show, in vertical section and in plan view, the arrangement of the guide roller on a larger scale.
The front bearing the motor rests in a known manner on the two running wheels a. At the rear, the machine frame b is provided with two steering stems, which also contains the gearing which is used to move the machine and to drive the knife rail d of the laterally projecting knife bar c. The cutter bar c is hinged to the frame b and is folded up when not in use.
A support rail e protrudes from the machine frame b to the rear, which is hinged to the frame at el, is guided between two lateral jaws b2 and rests against an adjusting screw bl of the frame. This support rail e is resiliently resilient in the vertical direction.
At the rear end it is towards the convex side towards the cutter bar
Curved arc of a circle and serves here a guide roller f provided with a sharp-edged rib fl for storage. By means of a series of holes g (FIGS. 2 and 3), which are provided in the curved end of the support rail e, the guide roller f, depending on the requirements due to the nature of the cut material, for mowing in various inclined positions to the longitudinal axis and Travel direction of the machine can be set. The slightest inclination of the guide roller f is indicated in FIG. 1, for example.
In one or the other inclined position, the guide roller f has the effect during mowing that a guide or guide pressure occurs at the rear end of the machine frame, which compensates for the mowing counterpressure that arises on the laterally projecting cutter bar and is directed towards the pivoting of the machine. The more inclined the guide roller f is, the stronger this compensating effect becomes. For driving on the road, the guide roller is set in the direction of travel (Fig. 3). Since the support rail e is resiliently mounted, the machine frame b is also supported on the guide roller f with a certain degree of support
Suspension.
The change in the position of the guide roller f on the support rail e can of course also be done with the help of other means. as shown and described. The guide rib f1 can also be attached to one or the other end of the guide roller instead of in its center.
