Blade for rotary machines, in particular steam turbines.
The present invention is based on the object of providing a blade for rotary machines, in particular steam turbines, which corresponds to the requirements placed on the blades in terms of current conduction and strength, u. between. Especially with steam turbines that work at high pressures. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the radius of curvature of the transition surface from the blade to the root or into the Sehaufelkopfwand is as large as required by the strength conditions and that this radius of curvature gradually decreases towards the leading edge of the blade.
The transition surface of the blade into the root or into the blade head wall in the middle of the blade is expediently provided with the largest radius of curvature and this radius of curvature is allowed to decrease gradually towards the leading edge, if necessary to zero.
In the drawing, blades of previously known embodiment are shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 5 to clarify the subject matter of the invention, u. 1 and 3 show the blades in a front view, whereas FIG. 5 shows a cross section of FIG. The new blade according to the invention is shown in exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 2, 4 and 6, with FIGS. 2 and 6 illustrating a blade without a blade head wall in view and in cross section, while FIG. 4 shows a blade according to the invention Represents Sehaufelkopfwand.
1 are the active surfaces of the blades, i.e. those that come into contact with the steam flow. 2 are the reinforced blade roots, -) is the blade head wall, arrow 4 indicates the direction of the steam flow. 5 denotes the radius of curvature of the transition surface of the active surface of the blade into the root or into the blade head wall.
In the blade designs customary up to now (Figs. 1, 3 and 5), the curvature radius of the transition surface from the active blade surface 1 into the blade root 2 or into the blade surface

a widening 6 of the leading edge both at the foot end and optionally at the head end. This widening of the leading edge at the foot and head end results in an increased impact and a splintering of the steam flow.
In the blade according to the invention (FIGS. 2 and 6), the radius of curvature 5 gradually decreases from the blade center towards the leading edge, as indicated in FIG. 6 by the drawn-in, decreasing radius of curvature. This results in the blade designs that used to be common, e.g. B. Fig. 1, occurring widened surface 6 entirely in elimination, whereby the shock losses and the splintering of the steam flow are eliminated.
The blade according to FIG. 4 shows the application of the invention to a blade with a blade head wall. In this, the gradual decrease of the radius of curvature 5 of the transition surface towards the leading edge is carried out both on the blade root and on the blade head wall. It appears in this figure made known by the arcs of curvature which become smaller from the center of the blade towards the leading edge.
