Elevator device for hanging lamps u. like
The invention relates to elevator devices for lamps, in which a winch for the rope hanging from the ceiling is equipped with a spring drive and a locking device held in engagement by spring force. According to the invention, the cable drum is resiliently mounted, so that the locking elements attached to the drum and the drum housing disengage when the lamp is pulled. Another feature of the invention is that the tension member carrying the lamp is wound on the winch drum in the opposite direction than that hanging down from the ceiling, whereby the elevator device constantly maintains its relative position in relation to the ceiling and the lamp.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows the elevator device in section, partially in view, FIG. 2 shows the winch drum in section and in elevation, and FIG. 3 shows a hanging lamp equipped with the elevator device.
A cable drum 2, which is equipped with a spring drive 3, is accommodated in a two-part, suitably egg-shaped housing 1. The axis 4 of the drum is inserted with its flattened ends into a slot in arms 5 which can be pivoted about pins 6. The arms rest with their free ends on displaceable bolts dz which are held in the upper position by springs 8. 9 is a ratchet wheel connected to the cable drum and 10 is a ratchet tooth attached to the housing. A flange 11 divides the drum shell into two equal parts. The rope strand 12a attached to the ceiling is wound onto one half part and the rope strand 12b attached to the lamp is wound onto the other half part. The winding direction of both ropes is opposite.
A single rope is used for electric lamps, which after winding onto one half-part is pulled through a channel 13 and then wound onto the other half-part. A guide sleeve 14 for the rope strand "is inserted into the housing at the top and a guide sleeve 15 for the rope strand 12b at the bottom.
The guide channel 16 in the sleeve 14 is curved so that the housing is supported against the rope.
The ratchet wheel 9 and the ratchet tooth 10 are held in engagement by the spring 8 against the weight of the lamp acting on the rope strand 12a. They are disengaged by a corresponding pull on the rope strand 12a. If the tensile force exceeds the tension of the spring 3, the two ropes 12 ″, 12fi unwind from the drum. If the tensile force is smaller, however, the ropes are wound up and the lamp rises. The coiled or unwound lengths are equal to each other, and the rope length from the ceiling to the lamp is therefore divided in the same ratio with each height adjustment of the lamp by the elevator device.
The tension of springs 3 and 8 must be adapted to the weight of the lamp. In order to be able to use the same elevator device for lamps of different weights, both springs are equipped with adjustment devices. For the spring 8 it consists of an adjustable nut 17 and for the spring 3 it consists of an adjustable slide 18 on the arm 5, the slot 19 of which is equipped with an extension 20. If the tension of the spring J is to be changed, the slide is moved to the left so that the flattened end of the axle 4 comes to rest in the extension 20, whereupon the axle can be rotated. In the illustrated embodiment, the pull on the rope carrying the lamp acts on the ratchet 9.
But you can also let the cable act on the ratchet tooth, which in this case is held in engagement with the fixed ratchet wheel by spring force.
