  Hebelschalter.

  Lever switch.

In the case of lever switches with a crank-like drive, the arrangement was previously made in such a way that the switch knives were rotatably supported at one end and their actuation was carried out by a crossbeam which led the knife at a certain distance from the pivot point. Perfect work was only possible if the individual parts were properly engaged, which was seldom achieved, especially with mass production. The invention explained below now shows a lever switch in which the cross member required for actuation is connected to the switch blades that the fixed

has a right-angled or otherwise suitable profile, penetrated.

Due to this non-rotatable fastening, the switch blades perform the same switching movement even without the previous fixed axis of rotation and
 EMI1.2
three-pole lever switch from the front, Fig. 2 from the side. a, b, c are the three switch blades that are penetrated by the traverse d with the interposition of the insulation e. When the lever holder is actuated by the handle f, the switching traverse rotates around points g and at the same time moves the retainer blades a, b, c connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. Since the pivot point g of the switching traverse and the discharge contacts h, i, k lie on a straight line, the knives rotate in the discharge contacts without being specially supported in them.

    PATENT CLAIMS:. '
1. Multi-pole lever switch, in which the drive is carried out by means of a cross-member connecting the switch blades in a rotationally fixed manner through lateral levers, characterized in that the switch blades are held displaceably in the direction of the cross-member axis and are located in the contacts lying in the axis of rotation of the switch lever without fixed storage rotate freely.
