Device for synchronizing high-voltage alternating current sources.

In order to connect two networks or power sources in parallel in high-voltage systems, it is well known that the voltmeters and synchronization devices required for synchronization, such as glow
 EMI1.1
the primary windings of which, instead of being connected directly to the current sources, are connected to the surfaces of the condenser bushings of the oil switch between the two current sources. Instead of a covering, the flange or a measuring clamp can also be used on the bushing.

Previously, the transducers for voltage measurement were placed next to the oil switch and the primary lines had to be laid as high-voltage lines to the condenser ducts. This is disadvantageous insofar as the wiring becomes expensive and the long lines lying in parallel represent a capacitance which is very apparent when voltmeters are connected to the secondary circuit of the transducer and which makes it necessary to calibrate the instruments differently depending on the length of the lines.

The invention relates to a device for synchronizing this type, which is intended in particular for open-air systems, but can also be used in conventional switchgear and which is very simple in structure despite the high operating voltage of the power sources. The invention consists in that the measuring transducers, to whose secondary windings the voltmeters and synchronizing devices are connected in a known manner, are arranged directly on the oil switch cover. The arrangement has the advantage that the apparatus carrying high voltage is arranged directly on the switch and only lines carrying low voltage lead to the measuring devices.

According to the invention, only one and the same calibration of the instruments is required for different systems, because the transducers for voltage measurement are arranged in the simplest possible way directly on the oil switch cover and the length of the lines is fixed.

The transducer can be attached to the oil holder cover in any way. In the case of boilers with a round cross-section, it is particularly expedient to design the cover to be rectangular and to arrange the transducers on the outside at opposite corners below the cover.

In the drawing, the invention is shown on a single-pole oil switch in section and view.

The cover 11 is provided with a square flange plate, by means of which it rests on the flange of the oil boiler 12 of round cross-section. The transducers 15 and 16 are arranged under the corners 13 and 14 of the flange plate, the primary winding 17 of which is connected to the linings of the bushings 19 and 20. Lines go from the secondary windings 18 of the transducers to the voltmeter 21
