   Um bei   Rohrschweiss- und Rohrformmaschinen   den Betrieb beim Abschneiden des Rohrstranges nicht unterbrechen zu müssen, ist bereits vorgeschlagen worden, die   Absehneidevorrichtung   parallel zum Rohrstrang und mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit wie diesen zu bewegen, so dass das Abschneiden während des Betriebes erfolgen kann ; die bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art haben sich jedoch in die Praxis nicht einführen können. Bei ihnen wird ein die Schneidvorrichtung tragender Schlitten   selbsttätig durch   Spannmuffen mit dem Rohrstrang verbunden und während des Schneidvorganges mitgenommen, worauf die Spannmuffen durch besondere Einrichtungen gelöst werden müssen, damit der Schlitten in die Anfangsstellung zurückgeführt werden kann. Diese Arbeitsweise bedingt eine sehr verwickelte und teure Bauart. 



   Nach der Erfindung wird der gleiche Erfolg in unvergleichlich einfacherer und billigerer Weise dadurch erzielt, dass man das freie Ende des Rohrstranges benutzt, um die Bewegung des Absehneidwerkzeuges unmittelbar mittels Anschlages hervorzurufen. 



   In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der Einrichtung in einer Seitenansicht dargestellt.

   Um die Schneidvorrichtung von dem Rohr mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit mitnehmen zu lassen, ist an dem Körper e des Rohrabschneiders mittels der Lasche i   ein rinnenförmiges   Verlängerungsstück 1 angebracht, dessen geschlossene Endwand so liegt, dass das freie Ende des Rohrstranges b dagegenstösst. Sobald dies geschieht, wird hiedurch der Rohrabschneider vom Rohre mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit mitgenommen. Das Anstellen der Schneidvorrichtung zum Zwecke des Abstechens des Rohrstückes erfolgt alsdann entweder von Hand oder auch selbsttätig. Durch diese Einrichtung ist sichergestellt, dass alle Rohrabschnitte genau gleiche Länge haben.
