Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein zusammenschiebbares Schutzgitter für Betten, welches je nach Belieben so eingestellt werden kann, dass entweder die ganze Längsseite des Bettes oder auch nur ein beliebiger bestimmter Teil derselben von dem Gitter abgeschlossen wird.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 das Schutzgitter in Seitenansicht, Fig. 2 dasselbe im Grundriss, während Fig. 3 ein Bett mit der Schutzvorrichtung zur Darstellung bringt.
Eine Schiene a, welche an dem Bett in geeigneter Weise befestigt wird, trägt die Säule b. Das ausziehbare Gitter c wird am besten in Form der Nürnberger Schere angewendet und um die Säule b drehbar angeordnet. Mit Hilfe des Endstabes d kann das Gitter in jeder gewünschten Stellung festgestellt werden. Man kann zu diesem Zwecke beispielsweise die mit den Ösen e versehene Leistef an dem Bett anordnen und die Feststellung in der Weise vornehmen, dass man den Endstab d mit seinem unteren geschlitzten Ende auf eine derartige Öse e aufsetzt. Bringt man ein solches Schutzgitter am Fussende des Bettes an, so wird schon durch geringes Ausziehen desselben ein Herabfallen des Deckbettes verhütet worden.
Man kann auch je ein solches Gitter an dem Kopf-und an dem Fussende des Bettes anordnen, und es wird sich namentlich diese Anordnung als Schutz für Kinderbetten eignen. Durch bestimmtes Einstellen der beiden Gitter ist man nämlich alsdann in der Lage, das Bett an einer beliebigen Stelle und auf beliebige Länge an der Seite frei zugänglich zu machen, also von dem Schutzgitter unbedeckt zu lassen, wie in Fig. 3 angedeutet ist, was bei den bisher gebräuchlichen starren Gittern nicht möglich ist.

The subject of the present invention is a collapsible protective grille for beds, which can be adjusted as desired so that either the entire long side of the bed or only any specific part thereof is closed off by the grille.
The drawing illustrates the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows the protective grille in side view, FIG. 2 shows the same in plan view, while FIG. 3 shows a bed with the protective device.
A rail a, which is suitably attached to the bed, supports the column b. The pull-out grille c is best used in the form of Nuremberg scissors and can be rotated around the column b. With the help of the end rod d, the grid can be fixed in any desired position. For this purpose, for example, the bar provided with the eyelets e can be arranged on the bed and the determination can be made by placing the end rod d with its lower slotted end on such an eyelet e. If such a protective grille is attached to the foot end of the bed, the duvet can be prevented from falling down by pulling it out a little.
Such a grid can also be arranged at the head end and at the foot end of the bed, and this arrangement is particularly suitable as protection for children's beds. By adjusting the two grids in a certain way, you are then able to make the bed freely accessible at any point and at any length on the side, i.e. to leave it uncovered by the protective grille, as indicated in FIG the rigid grids that have been used up to now are not possible.
