Einrichtung zum Desinfizieren der Harnröhre.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Desinfizieren der Harnröhre gegen ansteckende Geschlechtskrankheiten und besteht darin, dass ein bestimmtes, ausreichendes Quantum des Desinfektionsmittels in eine Patrone dicht eingeschlossen wird und diese Patrone in eine spritzenähnliche Vorrichtung eingesetzt wird, welche mit ihrem Mundstück an die Harnröhre angesetzt wird und eine Kolbenstange enthält, durch deren Einwärtsdrücken das Desinfektionmittel aus der Patrone in die Harnröhre geschoben wird.
In der Zeichnung ist die Einrichtung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt und zeigt Fig. 1 dieselbe im Längsschnitt vor dem Gebrauch, Fig. 2 im Längsschnitt und teilweise in Seitenansicht beim Gebrauch, Fig. 3 die Patrone mit dem Desinfektionsmittel im Längsschnitt.
Ein Metallzylinder 2 besitzt am einen Ende einen Schraubverschluss 3 und am anderen Ende eine Bohrung 13 und einen Hals 14. In der Bohrung 13 und im Verschlussstück 3 ist eine Kolbenstange 4 geführt, die am äusseren Ende einen Knopf 5 und im Innern des Zylinders 2 eine Scheibe 6 trägt. In den Zylinder 2 ist eine Schraubenfeder 7 eingesetzt, welche gegen die Scheibe 6 der Kolbenstange wirkt und diese nach aussen schiebt. Auf den Halsteil 14 des Zylinders ist ein spitz zulaufendes Mundstück 1 aufgeschraubt, dessen Spitze in die Harnröhrenöffnung passt und eine kurze Mündungsbohrung 12 aufweist. Der übrige Teil des Mundstückes ist weiter ausgebohrt und diese Ausweitung 15 dient als Sitz für die Patrone 8.
Letztere besteht aus einem Metallröhrchen und ist mit verdicktem Desinfektionsmittel 9 gefüllt und an beiden Enden mittels einer wachs-oder gelatineartigen Masse 10 verschlossen. Das Desinfektionsmittel ist so beschaffen, dass es sich in der Harnröhre leicht und rasch löst, die Verschlussmasse 10 ist ebenfalls leicht löslich und für die Harnröhre unschädlich.
Die kurze Mündungsbohrung 12 des Mundstückes, dessen weitere Bohrung 15 und die Führungsbohrung 13 für die Kolbenstange besitzen eine gemeinsame Mittelachse. Die Bohrungen und/3 und die Bohrung der Patrone besitzen gleichen Durchmesser, während der Aussendurchmesser der Patrone der weiteren Bohrung 15 des Mundstückes entspricht. Die Kolbenstange kann demnach durch die Patrone und die Bohrung 12 hindurch herausgedrückt werden.
Zum Gebrauch wird das Mundstück 1 abgeschraubt und die Patrone 8 in die Bohrullg 15 des Mundstückes eingesetzt, hierauf das Mundstück wieder aufgeschraubt. Die Spitze des Mund- stiickes 1 wird an die Harnröhrenöffnung angesetzt und wie eine Spritze daran gehalten, hierauf die Kolbenstange 4 entgegen der Feder 7 einwärts gedrückt. Dabei werden die weichen Verschlusskappen 10 der Patrone eingestossen, bzw. durchstossen, und das Desinfektionsmittel. 9 aus der Patrone in die Harnröhre geschoben, wo es sich auflöst und kurze Zeit darin gehalten wird.
Die Einrichtung wird mit einer Anzahl von Patronen in ein Etui verpackt, das so klein ist, dass es in der Westentasche mitgeführt werden kann. Die Darstellung zeigt die Vorrichtung stark vergrössert.

The invention relates to a device for disinfecting the urethra against contagious sexually transmitted diseases and consists in that a certain, sufficient quantity of the disinfectant is sealed in a cartridge and this cartridge is inserted into a syringe-like device, which is attached to the urethra with its mouthpiece and contains a plunger rod which, when pushed in, pushes the disinfectant from the cartridge into the urethra.

A metal cylinder 2 has a screw cap 3 at one end and a bore 13 and a neck 14 at the other end. A piston rod 4 is guided in the bore 13 and in the closure piece 3, which has a button 5 at the outer end and a button inside the cylinder 2 Disk 6 carries. A helical spring 7 is inserted into the cylinder 2, which acts against the disk 6 of the piston rod and pushes it outwards. A tapered mouthpiece 1 is screwed onto the neck part 14 of the cylinder, the tip of which fits into the urethral opening and has a short mouth bore 12. The remaining part of the mouthpiece is drilled out further and this expansion 15 serves as a seat for the cartridge 8.
The latter consists of a metal tube and is filled with thickened disinfectant 9 and closed at both ends by means of a wax-like or gelatinous mass 10. The disinfectant is such that it dissolves easily and quickly in the urethra, the sealing compound 10 is also easily soluble and harmless to the urethra.
The short mouth bore 12 of the mouthpiece, its further bore 15 and the guide bore 13 for the piston rod have a common central axis. The bores and / 3 and the bore of the cartridge have the same diameter, while the outer diameter of the cartridge corresponds to the further bore 15 of the mouthpiece. The piston rod can accordingly be pushed out through the cartridge and the bore 12.
For use, the mouthpiece 1 is unscrewed and the cartridge 8 is inserted into the Bohrullg 15 of the mouthpiece, then the mouthpiece is screwed on again. The tip of the mouthpiece 1 is placed on the urethral opening and held like a syringe, then the piston rod 4 is pressed inward against the spring 7. The soft closure caps 10 of the cartridge are pushed in or pierced, and so is the disinfectant. 9 is pushed from the cartridge into the urethra, where it dissolves and is held there for a short time.
The device is packed with a number of cartridges in a case that is so small that it can be carried in a vest pocket. The illustration shows the device greatly enlarged.
