Patentschrift Nr. 94415).
Demnach kommen also nur Stoffe aromatischen oder hydroaromatischen Charakters z. B.
Tetralinsulfosäure, welche leimfällend wirken, in Frage.

Process for the production of artificial structures from viscose.
The invention relates to a spinning bath for felling synthetic threads, films, ribbons, etc. from viscose. The spinning bath contains glue-precipitating, water-soluble sulfonic acids of an aromatic and hydroaromatic nature (excluding substances of a phenol-like character and those which do not have a glue-precipitating effect, e.g. additives according to Swiss Patent No. 94415).
Accordingly, only substances of an aromatic or hydroaromatic character z. B.
Tetralin sulfonic acid, which have a glue-precipitating effect, in question. These substances are often condensation products with aldehydes or ketones; Aldoses or ketones or higher molecular compounds forming these substances. The substances used are amorphous or crystalline in nature, contain hydroxyl or hydroxyl-free, be it that they contain a single ring system in their molecule or that several rings or ring systems with or without the intermediary of atomic groups or polyvalent atoms are connected to one another. The precipitation baths can also contain other acids (including mineral acids), salts and other glue-precipitating substances that are favorable for precipitation, e.g. B. also natural tannins. Some of the sulfonic acids mentioned can also be present as salts.
Examples:
1. The bath contains so much tetralin sulfonic acid that a total of 80/0 organic matter is determined when determining the difference between the evaporation residue and the residue on ignition; also so much free sulfuric acid that 120/0 of the total acid (calculated as sulfuric acid) are present in the titration.
2. The bath has a total acid content as below 2 and 9% organic matter of a condensation product of tetralin sulphonic acid with formaldehyde.
3. The spinning bath contains 7% naphthalene sulphonic acid condensed with formaldehyde and sufficient sulfuric acid that the titration results in about 11.5 "/ o total acid (calculated as sulfuric acid).
4. The spinning bath contains 130/0 sulfuric acid and 80/0 sodium oxymethylnaphthalene sulfonic acid.
In all of the examples, the baths can contain salts, especially sulfates, up to saturation, depending on the spinning temperature used. The other spinning ratios (drag length, take-off speed, bath temperature, special additives, etc.) are selected in a known manner according to the type of viscose used and the structure to be precipitated.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Process for the production of artificial structures from viscose, characterized in that a glue-precipitating, water-soluble sulfonic acid of aromatic or hydroaromatic character (excluding compounds of phenolic character) is added to the precipitation bath.
