Reactive consumption meter or reactive power meter based on the induction principle.
Blind consumption meters have become known in which there is an ohmic resistance parallel to the main winding coil. In other versions, the magnetic circuit of the main current receives a magnetic shunt. If these designs lead to useful results for frequencies in the order of 50 periods per second, then these devices are not sufficient for counters for low frequencies.
The object of the present invention is to provide a meter that can be used both in lighting networks
EMI1.1
is applicable.
It is known that in a reactive consumption meter according to the induction type with the power factor 1, the effective voltage field is in phase opposition with the effective current field. It does not matter whether the effective voltage field is in phase with the generating voltage
EMI1.2
The manner in which this latter shift is achieved according to the invention is intended for a single-phase meter by the description of the principle. Structure and arrangement of the associated vector diagrams are shown.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, 1 is the voltage coil, 2 is an ohmic series resistor, @ 3 is the current coil, 4 is a choke coil and 5 is an ohmic resistor. The choke coil is connected in series with the current coil. The ohmic resistance 5 is parallel to both. The choke coil and the ohmic resistance can be regulated individually or both in order to achieve the inductive balancing.

and is represented by vector 6-9.
In Fig. 3 the vector diagram for the circuit is shown, u. between for the power factor = 1.
The Xetzstrom J is divided into two parts, Js 10-13 and Jw 10-12. Js flows through the current coil 3 and
EMI1.4
Resistance 5, Fig. 1, as well as the adjustable choke coil 4, Fig. 1, or both devices together possible. According to this representation, the two effective stress flows # E and # Js coincide.
In a balanced active consumption meter, however, the torque is now proportional
EMI1.5
Consumption meter must be 1 with CORS, provided that the torque for phase angles between 0 and 1800 should lag behind in the same direction as between 0 and 90 lag behind

connections of the voltage coil are interchanged.
The meter according to the embodiment described not only has, as detailed tests have shown, extremely good properties depending on the load and the power factor of the network, but it also shows to a large extent little dependence on voltage, frequency and temperature changes.
This meter system described can also be used as a watt meter system in that the torque is compensated by twisting a spring. The rotation of the disk, which can be shown by a pointer on a scale, is then a measure of the reactive power.
EMI2.2
are, in particular, the two watt meter circuit for the reactive consumption or. Reactive power measurement may be used.
