Device for checking the shaft purity. The present invention
refers to an improvement in the device for controlling shaft cleanliness
according to patent 459 661, concerning "device for controlling the ZVellenreinheit",
and consists in * that the control voltmeter located in the diagonal of the bridge circuit
is replaced by an ammeter of minimal resistance. This
The ammeter then immediately shows the currents at frequencies other than the useful frequency.
Some exemplary embodiments are shown in Figs. I to 3, which arose from the corresponding Figs. I to 3 of the patent 459661 by replacing the voltmeter V with an ammeter Jp with the smallest possible resistance and are easily understandable. As a result of the coordination of the elements I_, C to the usable frequency to be tested and the equalization effected by the adjustable resistors R in the bridge circuit, the control ammeter 11 is applied to the points of equal potentials in relation to the usable frequency in all the circuits shown and therefore from the current of this Frequency completely free. For the currents of other frequencies, however, the elements L, C represent as good a barrier if they are tuned sufficiently sharply (ie if L is sufficiently large). These parasitic currents ip therefore flow through the branches that do not contain the element L, C and through the Control ammeter J, in the direction indicated by the arrow in all figures. Since the other ammeter T measures the antenna current, the ratio of the readings of the two ammeters gives the proportion of the parasitic currents in the total antenna current. One must also take into account that in the circuit according to Fig.2 the ammeter leads to only half the amount of the parasitic currents and therefore its reading has to be multiplied by 2, while in Fig.3 the currents i flowing through the ammeter Jp , are generated only by the voltage of one half of the secondary transformer winding and are determined by the impedance of this winding half (which is only a fraction of the total impedance of the secondary winding), so that in this case the reading of the ammeter J, again with a corresponding factor is to be multiplied.
