Die Erfindung betrifft eine selbsttätig wirkende Spannvorriehtung von Matratzen, Drahteinsätzen, Verspannungen aus Schnüren od. dgl. und besteht darin, dass die Enden der Drahtmatratze oder der Verspannung Ringe tragen, die auf schräg nach aufwärts und innen gerichtete, am Kopf-und Fussteil des Bettgestelles befestigte Stangen aufgefädelt sind.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer solchen Vorrichtung in Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht und in Fig. 2 in der Draufsicht dargestellt.
An den Querstangen a des Kopf-bzw. Fussteiles b des Bettgestelles c sind schräg nach aufwärts und innen gerichtete Stangen d befestigt, auf welche Ringe e aufgefädelt sind, die vorteilhaft in grösserer Anzahl als Kette an den Kopf und Fussenden der Drahtmatratze f oder einer Verspannung aus Schnüren befestigt sind. Sobald sich diese beim Gebrauch etwas dehnen, gleiten die auf den Stangen d aufgefädelten Ringe e um ein entsprechendes Mass abwärts, wodurch eine selbständige Spannung der Matratze bewirkt wird.
Um ein unbeabsichtigtes Freiwerden der aufgefädelten Ringe zu verhindern, können in die Stirnenden der Stangen sI Köpfe g od. dgl. eingeschraubt werden.

The invention relates to an automatically acting tensioning device for mattresses, wire inserts, braces made of cords or the like and consists in the fact that the ends of the wire mattress or bracing wear rings which are inclined upwards and inwards on the head and foot sections of the bed frame attached rods are threaded.
In the drawing, an embodiment of such a device is shown in Fig. 1 in side view and in Fig. 2 in plan view.
On the cross bars a of the head or. Foot part b of bed frame c are attached obliquely upwards and inwards directed rods d, onto which rings e are threaded, which are advantageously attached in larger numbers as a chain to the head and foot ends of the wire mattress f or a bracing of cords. As soon as these stretch a little during use, the rings e threaded onto the rods d slide downwards by a corresponding amount, causing the mattress to be tensioned independently.
In order to prevent unintentional exposure of the threaded rings, heads g or the like can be screwed into the front ends of the rods.
