 werden. Die Dauer der Erhitzung und die Art, bzw. die Stärke der Pressung sind in hohem Masse für die Gute der hergestellten Filterplatte bestimmend. Nach dem Pressen wird in kaltem Wasser abgekühlt, worauf sich die Filterplatte ohne Schwierigkeit aus der Pressform herausnehmen lässt. 



   Beispiel   2 : 60 g Qllarzsand   mit einer Korngrösse von 0'05 mm und 100 g Quarzsand mit einer Korngrösse von etwa 0'1 mm werden unter gutem Durchmischen auf   1500 C erhitzt. In   dieses Gemisch werden sodann, ohne weitere Erwärmung ca 55   g gepulverten Schwefels eingetragen,   wobei fortwährend gerührt werden muss, so dass eine gleichmässige Verteilung gewährleistet und eine Klumpenbildung ausgeschlossen ist. Die so erhaltene, körnige Masse wird nun rasch in die auf etwa   120-130  C vorgewärmte   Form gebracht und die Pressung mit einer Schraubenprcsse vorgenommen. Nach dem Pressen wird in kaltem Wasser abgekühlt, worauf die Diaphragmaplatte, wenn die Pressform vor der Verwendung entsprechend gereinigt wurde, ohne weiteres abgehoben werden kann. 



   Beispiel 3 : Es werden wie nach Beispiel 2 60   g Quarzsand   mit einer Korngrösse von 0'05 mm und 100 g Quarzsand mit einer Korngrösse von etwa 0'1 mm unter gutem Durchmischen auf   150-160  C   erhitzt. Gleichzeitig werden etwa 60   g   Asphalt, allenfalls unter Zugabe von kleinen Schwefelmengen, geschmolzen. In diese Schmelze wird das Sandgemisch unter guter Verteilung eingetragen. Die körnig aussehende Masse wird alsdann in auf etwa   120-130 C vorgewärmtePressformen gebracht und   verpresst. 



  Nach dem Pressen wird in kaltem Wasser abgekühlt, um die Diaphragmaplatte aus der Form entfernen zu   können.

PATENT-ANSPRUCH : Verfahren zur Herstellung poröser Formkörper für Zwecke der Filtration, Diffusion u. dgl. durch Verkittung körniger oder faseriger Stoffe mittels eines Bindemittels, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Bindemittel Asphalt, Goudron, Schwefel oder ähnliche leicht schmelzbare Stoffe dienen, wobei das Ausmass der Porosität durch die Korngrösse der Füllstoffe, das Mengenverhältnis zwischen Füllstoff und Bindemittel und die Stärke der Pressung in bekannter Weise geregelt wird.
